I wouldn’t take that as a positive thing 🤣 I just watched that Adolescence thing on Netflix and there is all sorts of meanings for Love hearts emojis etc 

 

Blue heart means Friendship and platonic love also Tranquility and peace 🤣 so next time you send some one a 🍆 emoji it means different so just stick to the basics and you can’t go wrong

I'm neither up nor down about his appointment,...though tbf, i'd've been the same had it been Luis Enrique or Pep Guardiola .

Neither would have been my choice and said previously that they are a much of a muchness. But at least Martin has experience managing a team.

 

Also, I don't think this board will care what us fans think of the appointment, they have already said they are here to make tough and unpopular decisions as these are required to get us back to where we want to be. 

 

They haven't spent £75M to hire managers who'll expect to tell them who to sign and what to pay, nor will they bow to fan 'opinion'.

 

I'm sure most of us would agree that this is the correct way for them to run our club.

 

As a former CB himself, RM must surely have watched rangers games last season and realised there is a big problem central defence. Solve that problem ( and GK too) and he’ll be off to a good start in the new season. And will he be bold enough to axe Tav who’s best days are well behind him now?

I was always uneasy about getting another foreign manager in case they went the same way previous ones went in that when things started to go wrong they didn’t know how to turn things around

Not when it came to sacking managers (and they did that a lot) they didn't. They were accused by many of bowing to fan pressure.

It'll depend on what budget he gets, but agree that fixing the spine of the team is priority. 

 

His style of play is very similar to Rodgers, so that's proven to be successful in Scotland so I can see why this would be attractive to the board.

 

He plays with 2 high / wide full backs which was successful for Gerrard, when Tav & Borna were at their best.

 

However, it's easier and stauncher to ignore all this, pine for a manager who hasn't managed 1 game, and simply scream and shout that Martin is an arse and we will fail before we've even signed a player or kicked a ball.

My biggest worry is the bulk of whatever budget he gets will need to go on at least 2 CB’s

If true its an utterly bizarre stupid signing , they had 4 months to get the right guy and they settle on this flop.

 

When you start off with most of the support against you it never ends well , be ready for the October cries for a new manager.
