Hemorrhaged our money on garbage or crocked goods. Absolutely he should be moved on. Expand I think he's made a number of good signings, with the exact profile of player we need going forward. He's also been ruthless in offloading all the previous duds, reducing the squad and wage bill which was necessary. I've argued for a while that we now need to see the acquisition of quality first-team signings, which his clear out should now allow. Punting him would be short-sighted, IMO.

On both accounts. Name one signing he's made that is actually value for money? Bearing in mind we paid over the odds for the majority of his signings especially in Diomande, Cortes & Bajrami. We absolutely need to see first team quality signings, which he hasn't acquired, and of the crocked signings he had made we'll still be paying for in the summer! Punting him now would be ideal, complete refresh of the footballing department, with the short time Koppen has had, he has been crap. Move on and install their own preferences.

Expand Igamane, Jefte, Nsiala (Obviously still early) ?? These are exactly the sort of signings we need to be looking at. Diomande will go for profit, of that I have no doubt I still think IF Cortes sorts the injuries out, he will also go for profit as hes still only 21 Scouting isn't a part of the club that can be implemented and have immediate unequivocal success within 12 months, its a process, one that I still think Koppen will come good on, especially with better structure around him that the new owners should bring, starting with a Sporting Director. All about opinions...

We've signed a lot of young, generally inexpensive, players with high potential. He also oversaw the clear out of over 14 players this season alone. Players like Jefté, Igamane, Nsiala, Diomande, Barron and Cameron are the sort of high potential signings we should be making. I'm also a big fan of Kasanwijro, who unfortunately got injured on international duty with the Netherlands. There's no need to throw the baby out with the bathwater.

Expand Igamane is the only player that will make us decent cash, IMO. Overall, none of them have really been good enough, and nothing right now says they will turn their Rangers careers into something meaningful. The scouting department at Rangers is pretty much nonexistent and the deals we have made, we paid beyond the outlay you'd want to for the level of talent we received. Nils Koppen has done nothing to convince me he is worth holding on to, and I'd imagine the new owners will have someone in mind who will fit with the manager they have in mind and the way they want us to operate.

Expand The boy who was a scout when Wilson was here and was involved in singing massive duds like Ridvan, Matondo and Ben Davies is still here and was given a promotion. Wilson was never a scout. He didn’t do a good job here by any means but he didn’t identify players. The scouts did, and many of the same faces who have failed over the years need replaced before we start recruiting again. That’s the biggest value Koppen can add this close season.

Anyone trying to argue this genuinely give your head a wobble if you think Nils Koppen has improved us 😂 one of our worst seasons ever. Signed shite, signed crocked shite, overpaid for potential.
