From what fan media are saying it's Stewart, Thelwall and Cavanagh.
RANGERRAB 4,116
I’m beginning to think there is no imminent appointment.

We should have beaten them and RB Salzburg. We were not prepared enough. We are never prepared enough. It’s not a big deal though, it’s not as if there is about £30 million riding on these games or anything.
Gonzo79 15,410
Not sure Rangers can force Gerrard's wife to say yes to him working in Glasgow or force Ancelotti's contractual obligations to disappear at the best of times, never mind when we're in the midst of a takeover. We all know the current board aren't great at decision making or getting things done quickly.

lenny3k 842
I’m not overly bothered about how Gerrard left last time. Let’s be honest, if he came back and had us top of the league by Christmas, most fans wouldn’t care either. For me, the bigger issue is his backroom team. If the rumours are true and it’s Davis and Henderson, then it’s a firm “no thanks” from me. I love Steven Davis, he’s one of my all-time favourite Rangers players, and I wouldn’t mind Henderson in our midfield for a season. But when it comes to coaching, who’s actually setting the team up? Where are the tactics coming from? Gerrard is a great leader, but he’s never been the one on the training pitch drilling positional play or shaping our in and out of possesion shape. That was Beale’s role before and Beale’s not coming back, nor would I want him to. There’s also the question of whether Gerrard's ego can handle being a head coach rather than a manager. If the club decides to sell a player, that decision needs to stand, regardless of whether Gerrard agrees with it or not. I get why some fans would want him back, and I’m not dismissing what he did for us, but for me, we need a fresh start. If it turns out Gerrard is the one we go for, it will be pretty deflating

Exit wasn't hasty, he was fed up with being told we had no money and a decent offer from a richer club came in. He isn't dictated to by his wife.
