Uilleam 6,493 Posted 1 hour ago Share Posted 1 hour ago Call me a technological primitive, if youse wull, but, if the VAR system can use its magic lines to demonstrate whether, at the goal line (or as near to it as makes no appreciable difference), the toe of a forward's boot is 'offside', then surely this wizardry can, in like manner, determine if a ball is in the net. What am I missing? Is there some technical reason that system's sorcery must stop at the goal line?
