More moonbeams or some real, properly exciting news?

Recommended Posts

Rather than bog down the match thread, I thought I'd start a new one about the news that the press have agreed to sit on until tomorrow's editions.

Apparently there will be an interview with Bain available on Rangers World from tomorrow morning at 7. I've put the link below, but there's really nothing worth checking out on it just now.

Clicky.

So far its been mentioned that there's apparently two pieces of big news for us, but some of us have been here many times before, so will take it with a pinch of salt until something concrete is announced.

Suggestions so far.....

- Stadium redevelopment

- Investment by an individual(s)

- Bosman signing

- Something to do with season ticket prices

- Something to do with Sporting Lisbon tickets

I don't see that it can be Sporting Lisbon tickets. They were advertising them today at the game and would look silly turning round and changing things (unless there is an ulterior motive...)

It's too early for season ticket news.

It can't be an investment into the club as that would need to revealed on the stock exchange first and it couldn't be revealed on a Sunday.

...likewise major stadium redevelopment.

that only leaves a major signing or moonbeams...or something that we haven't considered.

Listening between the lines on the radio today it is about a massive redevelopment of Ibrox.

This could be revealed on a Sunday as any other news if everyone involved kept quiet to news they received at an earlier date.

Those who were successful in the Lisbon ballot will get their tickets for free.

There will be a price freeze (or slight reductions) on season tickets for next season.

I'd hardly call that "exciting".
