He is pushing it through, and I can't see how they can stop him... I mean the foreign brigade are stopping the home grown lads from getting a job/playing, so they can't use that as a basis for defending having more than 5 foreigners... just a thought!

Blatter will find a way. I personally like the idea. I wouldn't like to go down the Arsenal route where the only Scot is a 19 year old who comes off the bench for 10 minutes. One of the reasons I've been so proud this season is that we have achieved a lot with a Scottish spine.

Looks like it's unnecessary for Rangers; however, it could be detrimental to us as I think such a rule will only inflate transfer fees for the best home grown players, which are already pretty steep.

 

Besides, anything that is detrimental to England's national team must be a good thing... ;)

Heard on the radio this morning that FIFA have passed this and it's proposed to come into place for the 2012 season. Still needs passed by UEFA and obviously European Law is pretty much up in arms. But what Sepp wants he usually gets.
