Granted, he did a great job as back-up but did have dodgy moments, especially when dealing with crosses. He couldn't have pulled off the saves AM did v Werder Bremen. Yes, but as Alexander did nothing wrong, why should McGregor waltz straight back in the team? I seem to remember not so long ago, McGregor was moaning that that likes of Klos etc walked straight back in the team. I believe that McGregor is our No1 keeper but shouldn't take the position for granted. Alexander was / is more than an able keeper who has done NOTHING to deserve being dropped. It's not a question of Alex. having done anything wrong and I believe he would understand that. Comparisons with Klos aren't the same because AM hadn't really proved himself then and I think we had Klos and Waterreus at the time.
