Frankie is probably right about 10 years, I was only guessing.

 

No I was wrong as well I think...

 

�£3.5million of it was used in the 2006 profit/loss accounts so the rest of the payments will be less than that obviously...

Correct. Some of it was used to pay for the closure costs of the shops etc, and the balance is writen off over 10 years through the P&L.

 

However it was also used to reduce the debt as I said above. ;)

You have actual figures mate.

 

As sdm said it was for players, and how many times do I hear "written off" when it comes to income ie players that could have generated money, [buffel], or it has went on balancing the books, which incidently never seem to get balanced.

We got in the �£18m, and spent �£4.8m on closure costs. The remainder will be written off over 10 years, together with the �£3m that we receive annually. :)
