1 thing i think we have a problem with is fitness of the players. When they come back from pre season or an injury they are always looking trim, fit, fast etc but during the season some of them seem to look slow and a few pounds over weight.

 

As someone mentioned earlier, its not the age of the player, its the quality of him. I mean let just give Aaron the same sort of time Novo gets in matches to see what impact he makes rather than swapping Adam for Lafferty - a change that did absolute nothing at all and was obvious. Strachan must have rubbed his hands at that change.

That is the problem with watty he sticks to things that have worked for him in the past. How many on here said Adam would play on the left? If we can foresee it then it won't be rocket science for Strachan to work out.

He cost us 10 in a row through loyalty to players who were slipping down the ropes and now with Weir, Fergie and players out of position he is falling into the same trap.
