They have given him a chance to steadily build himself up and get reserve/bounce matches under his belt though ? Obviously he's not done enough to justify inclusion into the starting XI in the managers eyes.

 

I've only seen him in a couple of games and he certainly didnt stand out albeit thats at reserve level....perhaps some genuine 1st team SPL action is what he requires to get back hopefully to the level pre-injury but with him having been out for so long he will struggle to ever reach that level again.
