it's early days but the sionko & clement look like being key players. wee charlie was a revelation- begs the question why mcleish didn't keep him instead of loaning him to st mirren but would he have been the same player he his because of the experience?

Yup Mr Murray, we're making progress...

We wont make progress until we have a SERIOUS clear-out of these idiots at a home game ..... ok, it might stop short of causing a riot, but we only need to do it once to get the message across. Get more stewards in there, and weed out these arseholes, because if we get banned from europe, or lose points in the SPL because of them, then my ticket is being sent back to Mr Murray :(

The message is not getting across by the sounds of it yesterday. Ok, it was the first game of a new season on a fine day and we had a big away vocal support but The Club needs to act or we could find ourselves in hot water.

I was actually a bit embarressed sitting listening to certain songs for 2 reasons - 1) What will PLG be thinking after our warning and fine and 2) We have been warned all summer and it took 7 mins into the game for Hullo Hullo to be sang. Now im not sure the rules on this song if it is banned home and away but those singing it HAVE to change the words to Rangers words. It will be a difficult song to eradicate or change because IMO this song and the words "Hullo Hullo" are almost like a trademark for us.

As for the "Who's the ****** in the black" chant, when are fans going to realise a ****** isnt a celtic fan/player/etc.

Getting rid of the less palatable chants was never going to happen overnight particularly amongst the away fans. Hopefully it will happen though over time and with further education of those that cannot see the damage that such songs will do to our club.

Make no mistake our enemies WANT us to continue with the offensive stuff. That should be the main reason why our fans should stop.

Sometimes in life you are presented with two options: one of which is uncomfortable and frustrating; the other being simply disastrous. It is vitally important that we choose the lesser of the two evils. We can gain some ground back with regard to the banned song if we show we can rid more of the irrelevant stuff. If not, then a song which we can all enjoy in it's less political form, could be lost to Ibrox forever.
