  1. Past hour
  2. There was talk of converting Tavernier into a CB.
  3. I'd like to see Tav as the back up to Aarons.
  4. Delighted with the Aarons deal. Hopefully he can recapture his Norwich form.
  5. Great news on Aaron’s. We have really missed having a backup for Tav over the last few seasons

    Ding, ding, round 2...
  8. Has definitely got ability. It's going to be about getting several players with proven ability back on track after losing their way, for whatever reason. The only way we can afford this level of ability (if we can get them back on track). The outside bet syndrome. If the recruitment is good then the odds won't be too long.

  10. Hopefully the 1st of a few over the weekend and into next week.
  11. I need Benfica to score 7 in the second half...
  12. I note that you couldn't defend your strategy after my serious post of yesterday. Instead, you put me ignore (for x minutes 😂). Cammy, I can't help but joke. You post a table that depends on the European coefficient, after telling us that it is best to forget about European football this season. Your providing evidence against your own strategy. You gotta laugh Put me back on ignore 😂😂😂
  13. They did, but if Super Ally and Hateley had played together more regularly in the groups stages, it wouldn't have mattered, we'd have won the dam thing.
  14. So many rumours, if we even sign half them, we'll be able to field two teams this season.
  15. Boresome garbage as usual Bluster - it's a lovely evening away and treat yourself to an ice-cream and give your brain a minutes peace man. Sometimes, it's better to ignore clowns, but your like the toothache, or maybe like piles......
  16. Today
  17. Biggest crowd I witnessed at Brockville was a Junior Scottish Cup semi-final early 80s. So busy people sitting all around trackside. Bo'ness v Pollock (IIRC -on a Friday night). Also went to Falkirk v DAFC game there just after Souness took over as our manager as they were selling Falkirk v Rangers cup tie tickets inside the ground. Big crowd at kick-off, but most left early (assuming Rangers fans)! This was before the FFC v DAFC rivalry and Tom Forsyth was the DAFC manager. Another memory is going there one winters day when our game away to Motherwell was a late call off. Falkirk were playing Hibs who had a very big and vocal support that day. However, must have been around 10 local RSC buses turned up giving Rangers the 2nd biggest support of the day! Was quite tasty after the game. Miko's debut was at Brockville and he attempted to score from the half-way line and sure Peter Haustra's (sp) last game for us was there and he scored a brace including a late winner. It was a poky wee ground, with the enclosure usually split 50/50, the wee cow shed at the train track side and a weird shaped stand due to the railway. Now a Morrisons.
  18. RANGERS have reportedly joined the race to sign Croatian defender Luka Jelenić. SunSport already told you how Russell Martin is closing in on moves for Max Aarons and Kwame Poku, but reports in Croatia now suggest the manager is looking at a new centre-back too. Sign 1 Luka Jelenic playing for NK OsijekCredit: Alamy Jelenić, 25, is believed to be on his way out of his current club Osijek this summer just one year after they signed him from league rivals NK Varaždin for a fee of around €800,000 (£685,000). He made 40 appearances across all competitions last season - 32 in the league as Osijek finished seventh. Jelenić even featured four times on the continental stage but his side failed to qualify for the Europa Conference League after losing on penalties to Zira FC in the third round. The defender still has two years left on his contract after penning a three-year deal last summer but Croatian outlet 24Sata state that he's expected to leave the club in the coming weeks amid growing interest. In the report it's suggested Rangers are set to battle it out with Portuguese club Vitoria Guimaraes for his signature. The 25-year-old was a key player under the manager who signed him, Federico Coppitelli, and current gaffer Simon Rožman - who took over in March. But after failing to qualify for Europe this year, it's likely the club will cash in for a nice profit. It's unclear just how much Osijek will as for, but they are hopeful of securing "serious money" for their prized asset.
  19. Your strategy has got merit, at least to use in an Only an Excuse, sketch. Mare holes than Rab C's vest 😂😂😂
  20. Okay, you sit in the far corner this evening!
  21. Back in the early 80's, sleepers were something in a John Le Carré book. Tinker, Tailor, Soldier, Head Coach
  22. If your auntie had baws she'd be your uncle
  23. The 'Eintracht Danilo'. See if they want one of our forwards who doesn't get much game time.
  24. Tell us more, tell us more.
