And as for they feckin drums!! Still cant understand why they will raise and spend small fortunes to put up banners for about 3 minutes prior to a game? They have done this previously but as their statement aludes to, they fell out with Rangers staff and board. Their TIFOs are normally fantastic, with a couple of exceptions (but nobody is perfect). They must be praised for the work, cost and dedication that goes into these displays. Look forward to 2025/2026 being an exciting new chapter for the UBs.

Some need to remember just how mediocre we are. We're never going to be able to attract top managers. Martin wasn't my 1st pick, or 2nd for that matter but let's not write the guy before he's even signed a contract. Some wanted Ancelotti because of the big names he could tempt to come with him to Rangers but he still might've been a terrible appointment. Time will tell.

I'm starting a rumour that Naismith is the real managerial appointment. Russell Martin is just the frontman to make it easier to sell to the support.

When do Celtic change their style domestically? Seems their "one style" has been rather successful for about 15 years now. SG rarely change his style and we went an entire league season undefeated. Seems to me if the style works, there is no need to alter it. We just need to find a style that works.

We all know nothing is official until it's official. Regardless of that, I'm still concerned about the prospect of Martin becoming Rangers manager. I've been saying for years we need someone who doesn't stick to one style/formation. It's boring and easily found out, even by the dross we play most weeks.

The attacking part of Tav's game stopped being effective when Clement "reigned in" our fullbacks. This was about 3 months after he took charge, when we were top of the league (with Tav contributing goals and assists). As the saying goes, the rest is history.
