I'm not positive about the takeover, but I'm not outright negative. I am dubious concerning the motivations of VC types, and how they might go about earning from their investment.
-
Well, he has a contract for c3.5 years. Maybe the plan (not a word we often associate with the Club, I concede) was to attract talent from the Maghreb, and from the Maghrebi diaspora, in Europe.
-
Maybe he is working from home?
-
Think he is just here to fluff Igamane's pillow.
-
No, Thelwell. Charai situation is an odd one, was wheeled out along with the other 4 when Clement left, then promptly disappeared again.
-
Issame Charaï , I presume. Assistant Manager on a 2.5 year contract, or thereby.
-
Aye, him anaw, forgot his name!.
-
He would have started already. Imagine he is on some sort of gardening leave at Everton. He was visiting Ibrox and the training ground a few weeks back with Marathe and Steinsson.
-
When did/does Thelwell start? He should be involved.
-
It would have to be Stewart and Steinsson, one would assume.
-
A question, who is signing off on the decision for a new manager? What level of input do the present boardroom have, compared to those who haven't yet taken over (51%) ?
-
Great picture but even that’s not the real Goodison.

Best of luck to him. Too injury prone to be offered another contract. -
-
Exact same feel here.
-
Hopefully it's based on a flurry of betting activity and nothing substantial.

Everyone is positive about a bright future under our new owners. It would be a massive own goal to go back 7 years and reappoint Gerrard. There's nothing new about that.
-
If we get Gerrard back would that mean Beale would be back as well .
-
Walter got backed and was able to bring in some quality. He could organise a defence and man managed very well. What happens now? Does Gerrard get to manage or is he head coach, told to develop players ? Is there an attempt to merge the two? If there is an attempt to merge the approaches, it comes down to recruitment. If a fair bit of money is spent, will Gerrard want actual quality or be happy with potential quality? My gut feel says Gerrard wouldn't take us to where we should be going, ie. a sustainable and modern football club.

If bringing SG back is the height of their ambition I'm gutted.
