  1. Past hour
  2. Coady reminds me of a younger LB
  3. 8am announcement I’m guessing same as Lyall Cameron😂
  4. I honestly think he'd be a terrible signing. Paying a fee for a 32-year-old centre back, probably on a biggish wage, who is slowing down and who’s defensive stats are absolutely woeful isn’t something I can ever get behind. Its more important than ever to have physically dominant centre backs with how small and weak we are now in almost every other position. Almost every signing in the past couple of years has been very weak in the air, and it cost us repeatedly last season like I predicted at the beginning of the season.
  5. Today
  6. The usage of 'significant coup' used for coady has given me the fear it is im afraid.
  7. I think Bordeaux are now in the 4th division too because of finances
  8. Unless any of us can locate a crystal ball or are the new owners, you won't be getting a definitive answer to that until the window closes. Even then, it's probably too early to judge who is 'best'. I reckon outgoings will fund some heftier transfers in the next few weeks.
  9. Are these really the best we can expect ?
  10. Doesn't look like it was enough tbh. "Eagle Football Group, the consortium which owns OL, have pulled multiple financial levers to try and convince the DNCG that the financial situation had drastically improved, including the sale of John Textor’s stake in Crystal Palace and Lyon’s women’s team. However, this has not satisfied the requirements needed."
  11. Nine games for Arrons last season. If we keep Ridvan that’s probably eighteen matches covered. We still need another. I like the prospect of Coady. I think he knows the defending trade.
  12. Textor is a bit of a wrong 'un. They had a similar warning last year. Hopefully the sale of Crystal Palace will allow Lyon to stay up on appeal.
  13. https://www.getfootballnewsfrance.com/2025/lyon-relegated-to-ligue-2-following-dncg-meeting/ Wow
  14. Sorry, the hamstring injurys were 23/24, he had calf issues at Valencia last season, and actually hasn't played a lot since I misread 23/24 as last season https://www.foxsports.com/soccer/max-aarons-2-player
  15. Mad theory, some journalist has confused us with QPR.
  16. They can all sit and slag the 'rebel scum' banner together.
  17. Fan media still pushing Poku to sign despite media reports he could be going to QPR.
  18. I'd be fine with that - Coady actually started his career as a 6.
  19. I think we'll play a back "3" - didn't RM say in one of the video clips posted that it looks like a back 4 but the full backs push forward and a 6 sits just in front of the 2 x CB.
  20. I like the idea of Coady in the centre of a back-three, but I'm not so keen on him playing in a back-four.
  21. Was he actually injured? TM doesn't have a record of any injury last season.
  22. Rangers Football Club @RangersFC Rangers Chief Executive Officer Patrick Stewart has been appointed to the Board of the Scottish Professional Football League (SPFL) for the 2025/26 season. rangers.co.uk
  23. Excellent news let’s hope we get a few more of quality
  24. You can’t hurt them financially you need to strip them of trophies that’s the thing that would hurt them
  25. Rangers are on the verge of securing a significant coup, with Leicester City defender Conor Coady preparing to travel to Glasgow to finalise a move to Ibrox, sources have confirmed to TEAMtalk
