match thread (image) [FT] Livingston 0 - 1 Rangers (Kamara 4)

I don't disagree - however, we should be able to rotate 2 or 3 players into the starting XI without losing a great deal of quality. At some point these players will NEED to be relied upon due to injury, suspension and/or lack of form. I would rather they get integrated in patches before the business end of the season. However, a tricky cup game against a strong, physical side like Livingston, on a terrible playing surface, may not be the time to do so. And certainly not for someone like Murphy who suffered his horrendous injury on a similar surface at Rugby Park. -

Agreed, which is what Gerrard said in one of his interviews. McCoist too. Both said it wasn't deliberate but it endangered a fellow player (can't be disputed). Gary Mac, however, said the ref got it right, meaning he agreed it wasn't serious foul play. -

The difference between his response and Gerrard’s tells you exactly why Gerrard should be on ALL interviews !! Holt said Rangers “got away with one” for the Helander foul on Dykes that should have been red. Gerrard says “interesting he said that. Don’t take me there, don’t take me there” - he clearly was talking about the elbow on Aribo and the many bad challenges on our players. -

I didn’t read them coop, I merely read pieces. I don’t have all day every day to read every post. It was merely an observation of why Gav defends the Police and even said “warranted or not”. i wasn’t “moderating”, I was posting an observation as a member. -

It’s tough to speak out when your assistant manager says the ref got it right. what the fuck is Gary Mac doing ? -

It’s relevant because it explains why Gav would defend the Police. -
I've lost two healthy, fit and active cousins to this disease - being on the inside, it is absolutely brutal. What Fernando went through I wouldn't wish it on my own worst enemy. It is THAT brutal of a disease.

It wasn't a deliberate handball. It was, however, a handball because his arm was in an unnatural position.

Was definitely inside the box, no question.

to be fair, Gav is a policeman so it is understandable he would take exception to insults at the Police - warranted or not. -
He's captaining Liverpool

BH is far too polarizing to be the SLO. Far too polarizing. And I say that as someone who has some sympathy for him - but he put his oar in without thinking at times.

I watched that derby yesterday and it was absolute guff. Ball spent more time in the air than on the ground.

Celtic Boys Club manager 'stuffed banknotes in boy's mouth'
craig replied to ian1964's topic in General Football Chat
The issue for CFC and the SNP in trying to bury this could very well be the USA. Given some of these abuses took place in the US it is highly likely that suits will be brought against Celtic in the US and it is almost certain they will become high profile. The spotlight will shine both on CFC and the government of the day in Scotland as to why there is no appetite to bring the sporting institution to justice... particularly if they ARE brought to justice in the US. Wishful thinking perhaps... -
It was one game and we couldn’t have been worse if we had tried. Far too early to be giving him plaudits.
