  1. Surely that's not his call?
  2. What do you think of him, Ian? I'm critical of him because he could be so much better if he'd cut out the childish stuff, pushing his various agendas like TBKs and the random fishing that he does. The first half of the above article is good stuff but he then goes and spoils it with the second half. We don't need someone with a Daily Star/Sunday Sport mentality. We need someone with credibility. He should revisit his whole approach and go for quality over quantity as he does have some good information at times. edit - I do read a lot more of his stuff now that you post the whole thing on here, so thanks for that, mate. I tend not to go onto blogs or other links for some reason (other bloggers take note).
  3. Haven't seen it.
  4. It appeared here briefly as well and then was deleted by the OP for some reason. Very strange.
  5. No forgetting about the many callers who thought that there should have been an extra 2 minutes injury time to allow them to equalise. I never did catch the reasoning for the extra time, but it probably would not have made sense anyway.
  6. Sounds like many fans are not donating.
  7. According to one caller on the Radio Clyde phone-in, it's because the police visited both Rangers and Celtic during the week and told them to behave on the park, and because of the threat of arrest celtic players were too scared to tackle for the first 20 minutes. They are not normal.
  8. There was never any chance of that.
  9. Is singing "jelly and ice cream is for paedophiles" offensive? Definitely not pleasant but does it fall under the legislation?
  10. "But match day tickets for the Old Firm game were priced £42. And the Copeland Road Stand is season ticket only." There were plenty of people offering season tickets for sale on Sunday. As for "Copeland Road Stand"? FFS.
  11. Would the club not benefit more from donating the cash to the Fighting Fund rather than buying tickets? It would mean no VAT would require to be accounted for on the sums donated?
  12. There was certainly a fair amount of censorship of criticism of Ticketus going on in certain quarters over the weekend, which was disappointing.
  13. A lot of back-pedalling and rewriting of positions going on.
  14. Perhaps it'd be quicker to name the clubs that are named after a place?
  15. Neil Lennon sitting safely in the Rangers directors box.
  16. It sums up more about your club, your security people and you if you thought that you could not sit in the directors box in safety.
  17. I'd thought of Arsenal and then edited my answer as they were previously known as Woolwich Arsenal and therefore did have a place in their name. I'd also potentially throw in St Johnstone although I believe that there's a connection to an old Perth name there.
  18. They are not (and never have been) named after a place?
  19. Good question BTW. Don't give the answer too soon. I need some more time in case my first answer isn't correct.
  20. The supporters of all 3 clubs, apart from Rangers and St Mirren think that their club has a silent "t" in their name?
  21. I don't think that it's a red herring as he suggests. If it is struck down then Ticketus become a creditor like the rest of the creditors and will hopefully get pence in the pound and have no future recourse against us. It could be an important basis for striking down the contract.
  22. That's not necessarily relevant. It would just create a debt in Rangers accounts which is then extinguished when Wavetower paid the cash to Lloyds.
