  1. TBO did something similar a few years ago, so it's difficult to criticise them.
  2. To all the posters on the board, hope your team wins! I'd better look at heading off to the game now. I feel in my bones it's going to be a good one (although that might not be a good sign).
  3. Yellow submarine
  4. Can't say I've noticed her
  5. A cup final at Hampden, I think. Possibly 79? We lost, I think. Memory is a bit hazy now.
  6. One man went to bed, went to bed with Boruc One man and his mobile phone, went to bed...
  7. Just got round to reading the article. "Bain wants it to be viewed as a genuine vote of thanks, and he stressed that looking after Rangers customers now - and in the future - will be at the forefront of his thoughts." Nice to be thought of as just a customer.
  8. Oops. I need to do that as well.
  9. I'm going. Should be a great night. Looking forward to it.
  10. I switch between Clyde and Real radio. I need something to fill up the journey home from work. If Clyde becomes a bit too one-sided I stop listening, although sometimes it can be OK. If Ewen and Roughie get too jokey and stop talking about football, or if Ewen is on one of his totally unreasonable "I'm only taking this attitude to improve ratings" rants then I stop listening. The guy I enjoy listening to the most is Keith Jackson on RR.
  11. Cammy, you would leave Thomson out after his great performance against Hibs?
  12. Sunday Post gave Thomson 5/10. My MOTM as well.
  13. Looks like Murray has taken account of point 13. Well done to the RST.
  14. All credit to Bain for that. Just a shame Murray's comments about our support weren't so measured.
  15. Oh FFS. I give up. They just can't get it right.
  16. Well I have and there's no sign of Bain's interview. However it seems that you were right with the news, Frankie, and I'm severely underwhelmed. Yes, they are nice touches, but I can't help the feeling that the tickets for Lisbon are being funded by the rest of us with the £35 ticket charge for the rest of us. And if that's the case then I also feel that there will be some other weay of recouping the £20 or so that they are losing from not having a season ticket increase. I don't think so.
  17. I'm sure that's of great comfort to Scooter657. :D
  18. I was at all of these games. One thing i remember from the mid 80s (pre-Souness) was the team getting read out and the players being politely clapped but a huge cheer when they read out Coop's nmae. the only star in the team back then.
  19. I'd hardly call that "exciting".
  20. We have to be able to laugh at ourselves, but I don't find this as being particularly funny, especially not on such an emotive subject. It's just part of the continued demonisation of our support by a media who are not willing to be even-handed.
  21. I don't see that it can be Sporting Lisbon tickets. They were advertising them today at the game and would look silly turning round and changing things (unless there is an ulterior motive...) It's too early for season ticket news. It can't be an investment into the club as that would need to revealed on the stock exchange first and it couldn't be revealed on a Sunday. ...likewise major stadium redevelopment. that only leaves a major signing or moonbeams...or something that we haven't considered.
  22. He has apparently started training but it will be a few weeks before he can play again due to the nature of the injury. Sounds like there is no way he'll make the OF game.
  23. JCD hasn't looked fit this year, and I don't exect it to be different tomorrow. Where is the guy that we had for the first 2 months?
  24. I haven't listened to it, but I understand that it was "Margaret says half human half animal hybrids are not new Ibrox has been there for half a century" Certain people in BBC Scotland have an agenda against our club and reading out things like this are just part of it. Other examples that spring to mind are: - reading out a text on Monday claiming that the Gers fans were singing a sectarian song at 89 minutes at the cup final. (no proof or justification of course). - making a racial comment about Sebo - skipping over our great European performances in their new reports. - Having a photo on their website which called "kevinc*ntthomson" if you looked at its properties. There are loads of other examples. The thing is that they are clever at doing it. They are more subtle than the likes of McNee and Spiers and therefore more dangerous, as most people won't know they have an agenda. Just keep an eye out for it, guys.
  25. I've posted my thoughts on the thread in the Lounge. Fraser, as someone who has handed out leaflets at Ibrox, I know that people are unfortunately not interested in receiving them on their way into the game.
