  1. I believe that the lesson has been largely learned from most sections in the support. You can never get 100% buy-in. That's just not possible, but by-and-large, there's been progress made. However I'm presuming that a majority of those causing the trouble weren't regulars at Ibrox. They were the ones that turn up once a season for a European night, half-cut and coked up, that the club has virtually no direct interaction with. They don't visit the club's website. They don't read the club's statements. I don't see what the club can do to reach these people. It's just not possible.
  2. 49 years! That's wonderful!
  3. I just googled Lewis May. Didn't recognise the name.
  4. That's not excusing anything. It's just the reasons for it. It doesn't make it right. Not sure why you're trying to be so confrontational about it.
  5. I understand that Gunslinger is getting married on Saturday. All the very best to you and your beautiful bride, mate!
  6. Cults (sic) seldom are that sane.
  7. Yeah. Although I wasn't at either, it seems to me that both occasions were handled reasonably by the police, although those who were there may disagree.
  8. @Frankieshould the site stretch to a wee trophy that we could send into Ibrox for the winner?
  9. I'm similar. I think it would have been Tav if it wasn't for his injury, but Goldson was so consistent and our defensive record was incredible, that I've gone for Goldson.
  10. It's hardly news that we've got some neds and arseholes in our support. Turn up at Ibrox on a European night and you'll see them. It's also hardly a surprise that there was some trouble at George Square caused by a small minority. That was predicted by many, as was the SNP's hypocrisy on the issue. If anything, I'm surprised there wasn't more trouble and the police weren't more heavy-handed.
  11. But not yesterday's demo, or last weekend's Palestine one, or the nationalist one that took place the previous (?) week? Maybe we do have something to demonstrate about if the SNP continue to use us as a political football? It's been proven that the chances of transmission in the open air are very small, and the worst reason for tomorrow not happening is because of the risk of the SNP using us as an excuse for their own inadequacies or their puritanical outlook on life.
  12. It wasn't that spontaneous. Everyone knew it was happening and plans had been made by many on the assumption that we'd win the league that day.
  13. Firstly, that wasn't a spontaneous protest by the neighbours. Politicians were calling for people from all over to attend. Secondly, I don't know the rights and wrongs of the specific case, but those protesting were interrupting people going about enforcing the law. Yes, that's totally different and should, on the face of it, be condemned a lot more than people just celebrating a league win.
  14. Like the 2 above: Rangers 3 - 0 Aberdeen Morelos
  15. Hypocrites. They'll be the first ones supporting the SNP's fascist-like tactics if it comes to voting in Holyrood.
  16. What teams are in the Lowland League?
  17. I reckon he's up there. It was a relief to have McFadden instead of him at the last game. However Craigan on his own was painful on the ears, and I had to mute it. It was up there with Mark Lawrenson.
  18. He should acknowledge that Rangers haven't banned anyone due to "question, probe and criticise". They've banned people for lying and for making, as Uilleam says, "assertions, on air, without proof, or, without full understanding".
  19. Why are we thinking about changing to a back 3/5 when our defence has worked so well this season, both from a defensive and attacking viewpoint?
  20. Sevco 5088 Ltd didn't buy the assets. It was Sevco Scotland. As for the argument that D&P undervalued the club, obviously a business is only worth what someone was willing to pay for it (ignoring the issues as to who was allowed to buy it). The club may been sold for a fifth of its paper value, but it's ignoring the required investment after purchase to get it back up and running to a required standard. The issue of the players being sold for less than their value is probably due to cashflow. the directors probably had to get them off the books as soon as possible....although we'd all like to have seen more raised from the disposals. This case re-raises a great fear of mine at the time. Could the administrators have raised more by selling the individual assets and not the club as a going concern? i'm fairly sure that they could have. I'm obviously thankful that they didn't, even if D&P's reasons for not doing it are perhaps slightly less than pure.
  21. That's a pretty good effort for a team, but I don't think Black played that badly for us and Simonsen hardly played. I'd replace Simonsen with Bell, Peralta for O'Halloran (partly out of respect) but leave in Black because of who he is, rather than how he played.
  22. That's definitely the correct four players. My order FWIW 1. Goldson 2. Tav 3. McGregor 4. Davis although I could easily swap 1 and 2 and swap 3 and 4.
  23. Given we've already got Joseph Oluwaseyi Temitope Ayodele-Aribo, Adedapo Awokoya-Mebude and Calvin Bassey Ughelumba, we should be deal with Nathan no problem.
