Agreed with the sponsors on this one but there was an excellent case to be made for Roofe as Frankie has shown. Middle to front we were exceptional and most of it came through Davis. Funnily enough I did think McGlaughlin had possibly his shakiest game so far even though he kept the record going.

I generally don’t subscribe to the “bent ref” theories mate I honestly think they’re all just really shit at their jobs. Not Clancy though I genuinely believe he’s a cheating, agenda driven little **** who isn’t even trying to hide it anymore. What annoys me slightly is that the club don’t speak up. A four nil cruisefest is the idea time to go after him but we won’t. Damn sure the woolybacks would though!

Clancy is the only referee on the planet that would choose not to give a card of any description for that challenge.

Can understand the frustrations from some about not getting the proper hatful but I have to say mine is tempered somewhat by some of the play going forward. Second half in particular we were brilliant. Roofe is going to be a key player for us this season thought he had an excellent game. Morelos looked sharp as a tack when he came in and by all accounts the injury isn’t as bad as it looks. All in all things are looking quite good going forward.

Personally preferred the days when there weren’t any windows and you could just buy when you wanted to. Nothing better than taking a star player off a rival six weeks before the season end.
