No @Gaffer I was referring to the Anyone Everyone campaign which the thread is about, a total waste of time if the club is not going to look after our match-going fans or comply with recommended guidelines for number of disabled/wheelchair seats/spaces. Its just a grubby PR exercise from the club.

1 goal in every 7 games and 1 assist every 4 games for a winger is a really poor return, hence SG has felt the need to buy wingers and allow DC to leave. Not sure the wingers we have brought in are going to be any better, but DC is unlikely to improve at his age, so a change is the correct option.

Yes, its an absolutely hollow gesture from the club which annoys me. Get the feckin wheelchair spaces sorted, get access for disabled fans sorted, dont make a song and dance about it, just get it feckin done. While all our supporters are taken for granted at times, the disabled Rangers supporters are treated with utter contempt and as a club we should be ashamed of how little we have done in this area. But never mind, we have clearly spent a large sum of money on this campaign which will do very little to nothing to improve access/facilities for match-going fans on matchdays, so all must be good then!

While he was the hardest working winger I’ve ever seen, his final ball and finishing was poor. 6 goals in 52 games for a team winning most weeks and creating tons of opportunities is not good enough and while SG loved his workrate, he needs to find someone that will provide assists and goals when we really need it and far too often DC didn’t deliver, not to mention at 31 he might be past his peak. I wish him well and thank him for the effort he put in, and I hope we got a decent fee for him, but at 31 and with only 1 year left on his contract we probably only got around somewhere between £500K - £1M.

Absolutely delighted at this draw. Best we could hope for but leads to a tougher test in R4 should we do the business here. Given the squad and outlay we should be winning this tie.

Another good 90 minutes of pre-season action under the belts, nobody injured, played some good stuff in first half and got a wee reminder of how it wont go all our own way in the second. On to Thursday and a much more important fixture.

Out of nothing Morelos gets free in the box and finishes coolly, but the flag goes up to rule out a late winner. Soon followed by a penalty shout but the useless ref Don Robertson gives a foul against Morelos instead, just to let him know what will be coming from him this season! Wasnt much of a shout I didnt think, but it wasnt a foul either. Full Time whistle goes, 1-1

Blackburns level has gone up significantly in the second half, they are pressing us back really high and really well, giving our fans in attendance some heart attacks but we are keeping calm and moving the ball out of defence very well, mostly! We are still managing to counter-attack them and look dangerous when we do so, but we havent been the better team in the second half, and have had far less possession than we would like or expect. Our levels have dropped massively from the first half, even before the subs came on, but we have been pretty poor since the changes were made.

Yes, and none of the defenders covered themselves in glory for how they dealt with it either. A real team effort!

1-1 Sloppy defending allows an equaliser. Kamara gives the ball away at edge of our own box, nice 1-2 and while McGregor saves the first shot the rebound is a tap in.

Good piece of defending by Edmundson there to prevent the equaliser. Second half has been quite stale so far, expect both teams subs to be coming on soon.

We are dominating possession and looking dangerous. Blackburn are fairly decent when they can get the ball into forward areas, and our defending has looked a touch rusty at times, perhaps understandably given the two CB's are probably our backups and this is also the first side who have tried to attack us in 5 games.

Goal!!!!!!!!! A fantastic cross from Jones right onto Defoe's napper and he doesnt miss the header from 6 yards. 1-0 Rangers.

A lovely flowing move that started deep inside our own box ends with a good save from a Defoe shot and after a bit of a stramash in the box Blackburn somehow get it cleared. Nearest we have come so far, and just after Blackburn had a good move that broke down with a poor final ball from their winger.

I dont think Edmundson and Katic have played together yet? Will be interesting to see how that partnership looks. I'm guessing Blackburn will bring a strong side (for them) and that this should be more competitive than the last 2 Sunday matches.

Another strong side, another different midfield 3 and front 3 to have a look at. Hopefully we can continue the momentum with another decent performance, but more importantly, that everyone gets another good workout and nobody gets injured.
