  1. Will Brahim Hemdani get his position back?
  2. Aye your right TB, at least it's not green, but honestly it is fucking hideous. You'd need to pay me to wear that crap.
  3. Smart move from Hibs signing Carmichael who was a real stand out in our games against QotS this season. That move by Hibs weakens one of their opponents for next season and strengthens their own squad.
  4. I haven't seen enough of any of them to know how good they are, but all the best to them all anyway. I think I remember the lad Gibson from last year's youth cup final against Hearts. When the players were in the middle of the penalty shoot out he was caught on camera giggling like a wee lassie.
  5. A great managerial/coaching team backed up by great scouting and we're rocking.
  6. Sorry folks, we've been experiencing some server issues today.
  7. It was an extremely difficult situation 3 years ago, even more difficult than the current situation, but I must admit that I'd have approached very differently (on the football side) from what Ally and his staff did. When we were dished out that transfer embargo it only applied to players over the age of 21, so there was a clear cut opportunity to bring in top class U21 players and start building a squad for the future.
  8. A younger Sir Alex coming in even only on a part-time consultancy basis like you suggest could be a real game changer for us, but unfortunately I think he's too old now even if he fancied it. He started loosing some of his marbles a few years ago. Doesn't mean he wouldn't still have something to offer, but I'm sure he's enjoying his retirement and focusing more on horse breeding and racing.
  9. This is very true and exactly what caused Hibs to be relegated last season. A squad full of players who were turning up in body, but not in mind because they knew their time was up at the Club.
  10. The new board (and any new staff they employ) have a mountain to climb here. There's an absolutely mammoth task ahead.
  11. No idea if it was a one-off or not, but after witnessing it there's no way I would trust him as our number one 1st team keeper unless our number one & number two were out injured and it was an emergency.
  12. He signed a new 2.5 year deal at the end of February - http://www.rangers.co.uk/news/academy-news/item/8567-kelly-delight-at-new-deal
  13. He was absolutely shocking in the Youth Cup Final we played against Celtic a couple of weeks ago when they put 5 past him. Some poor defending didn't help, but Kelly was really terrible between the sticks.
  14. Apart from the more obvious under-performers we're being left with I'm also pretty gutted that Zaliukas was given a 2 year deal and we're lumped with him for another season. The combination of Wallace at left back and Zaliukas at left centre back makes the whole left hand side of our back line a weak spot. Add a right back into the equation who's weak defensively like Foster was and suddenly your whole back line's a total shambles.
  15. There's nothing to compare. Different types of character and completely different circumstances.
  16. Foster was sometimes good going forward, but he was a very poor defender. Seb Faure was better at right back defensively than Foster was and that's not even the Frenchman's natural position.
  17. There's one or two I might have kept, but hopefully this is true because we really do need a clear out. It's just a shame Kenny Miller isn't on the list of players leaving because he's been absolutely pish.
  18. I'd be very happy with that if he was appointed as head coach/manager under a 'Director of Football' or assistant manager to someone he knows and has worked with who's got more managerial experience.
  19. After reading that I've now got an image in my mind of McCall and McCoist doing a Karaoke duet!
  20. I was wondering how long it would take for someone to bring Zidane into it. Mohsni and ZZ in the same discussion, I've heard it all now.
  21. It shouldn't have been difficult for McCall to improve the team slightly after Kenny McDowall's dismal 8 games in charge. Almost any manager could have walked in there, instilled some positivity, improved the team spirit a bit and given some of the players a wee confidence boost. Unfortunately for McCall though, any improvements he did make just weren't enough. In fact, they were nowhere near enough.
  22. Hopefully it does blow over. This sort of nonsense is only good for newspapers and their sensationalist strap lines. Our Club has much much bigger problems to deal with than yesterday's incidents or clowns like Mohsni. Motherwell can deal with yesterday's incidents and Mohsni can bugger off to another Club who's daft enough sign him.
  23. McCall's not the man for the job, no chance. He scraped through the play-off games against QotS & Hibs, but most of us here have been commenting on his unfathomable decision making and tactics over that period before his team even kicked a ball against Motherwell on Thursday night. Losing our 2 goal lead at Tynecastle after bringing on Jig 80 mins into the game was a massive error in judgement and McCall has continued to make a series of poor judgement calls right up until yesterday. Why has he repeatedly played Miller for 90 mins when the player is gubbed after 65? Everyone's talking about the Mohsni incident, but why was that clown even on our bench yesterday instead of one of the respectable young lads in our squad who's a goal threat like Hardie or Gallagher? If a defender was absolutely necessary for the bench yesterday it should not have been Mohsni.
  24. Sod that. Do what Hearts did this season and field the youths & young lads/reserves in the Cup games. Make the league games total and absolute priority for the 1st team.
