  2. There's also been a dry humoured, almost tongue-in-cheek element to some of his comments which have been pretty funny. Thumbs up from me.
  3. I don't think that would be very appropriate. Let's at least keep it civil here.
  4. Don't forget to post your predictions for the Hibs game tomorrow! - Predictions for Hibernian v Rangers - Premiership Play-Off SF2 (GPL game 52)
  5. I won't say which ones for good reason, but I'm loving some of Dave King's comments today.
  6. To lose in that manner was a poor show all round. The team selection and formation of the players completely baffled me, specifically with Aird playing in central midfield where he had very little impact on the game at all because most of the game just passed him by and I'm equally unconvinced by some of the other players on that showing. Fair play to Celtic because they outclassed us in this one and well and truly deserved their win, but a lot of questions need asked about that tonight from our point of view. Our midfielders and defenders didn't help much, but I'd be asking some questions about Liam Kelly's performance in goal which ended up being almost as shambolic as the laughable performance of their keeper in the first half.

  8. Old Firm youth cup final? Good excuse to crack open some jus de pomme!
  9. Aye, that's no bother mate. Just post it whenever it's done and you've got time.
  10. Looking forward to this. It'll be great to see the young lads in action.
  11. Congratulations to the lad.
  12. I'm puzzled as to why they didn't leave the presser until tomorrow if Dave King isn't being made Chairman until tomorrow. I guess now they've held the presser today they'll let the Club focus on the team's presser and build up to the Hibs game tomorrow and just keep the news of Dave King being made Chairman low key.
  13. That's the predictions thread now up for the Hibs game on Saturday - Predictions for Hibernian v Rangers - Premiership Play-Off SF2 (GPL game 52)
  14. GPL round-up plus the latest results and standings tables following last night's 2-0 win at Ibrox - LINK....
  15. He was really unlucky not to be on the score sheet as well. The Queens goalie Zander Clark kept some superb efforts from Vuckic out of the net and essentially kept QoS in the game.
  16. Don't forget to post your predictions for the Hibs game before kick-off tonight! :drum: Do it here - Predictions for Rangers v Hibernian - Premiership Play-Off SF1 (GPL game 51)
  17. Not quite mate. I've got family living very near where Dave King stays and I'm pretty sure there's a 2 hour time difference. They're a couple of hours ahead.
  18. Great first post back there Ruth! Welcome to Gersnet!
  19. BEARGER, I've added URLs/links and an author credit to the STV article you've just posted. Please remember to do this yourself or Gersnet could be pulled up for copyright infringement. Same applies to everyone copying & pasting articles into threads here. Please remember to do this folks!
  20. Jim Spence and Tom English are absolutely livid! English: "I want to see the evidence to satisfy myself that he's fit and proper!"
  21. Without that previous £20m investment from Dave King we might not have built Murray Park. Now the attention will turn to impatiently demanding to see his plans for the Club and for him to hand over £30m in one go.
  22. That's one of the saddest aspects of this Dave King 'fit and proper' saga, the fact that we actually have fans in our own support who've done virtually nothing but bad mouth Dave King and insist he wouldn't (or at least shouldn't) pass this SFA FAPP test.
  23. Fantastic!!! This news will rattle some cages!
  24. Is it Statement Klaxon o'clock?
  25. Aye, PLG went about it all wrong when he brought in his own clique of French assistants and backroom staff. That said, when he arrived at first he barely spoke a word of English.
