  1. I didn't think there was as many as 2000 restricted view seats. The ones in Main Rear sections MRA-D & MRQ-T add up to less than 850 in total and then you've just got the ones in the Enclosures which add up to less than 300 in total, so there should be less than 1150 unless the Club's stadium plan is wrong.
  2. The timing is completely bizarre. What else will we get between now and Sunday? I'm guessing the controversy and pressure levels will be ramped up to max.
  3. Why on earth is this being brought up now, after all these years?
  4. I've merged these threads and changed the title accordingly folks because we're getting multiple threads on what is basically the same subject matter.
  5. Just noticed that I got my stats wrong because I was subtracting the sub appearances from the starts instead of adding them on! Anyway, my general point about Boyd still stands. Almost all of Miller's appearances have been starts whereas quite a lot of Boyd's have been from the subs bench later on in matches.
  6. Typical for these rumours to be leaked to the press when we're still in a battle for promotion. Maybe I'm being a bit paranoid, but it seems to me that time after time enemies of our Club will do virtually anything to unsettle our team in the build up to big games.
  7. I've been sitting in the East Enclosure for a lot of games this season and that's already almost sold out for this game apart from SE1.
  8. Aye, I would think the ticket hotline will be busy all week.
  9. At least in McGregor's case he's actually worth keeping for another season. Kenny Miller should be paying us to get a game.
  10. I'm surprised Chuck isn't in the painting!
  11. Boyd's scored 10 goals in 26 appearances, but only 13 of them were starts as he came on as a sub 13 times. 10 goals isn't a bad return from so few starts. Miller on the other hand, only has 8 goals from 34 appearances, 31 of which have been starts.
  12. It should be well over 40k by now because tickets seem to be selling pretty fast.
  13. I see there's been rumours in the press that Miller's optional 1-year extension might have been triggered by an appearance clause, so it looks like the suggestion is that he can stay with us for another season if he wants to. I'm struggling to imagine why it would be his choice and not the Club's choice though.
  14. I think the main issue was with Jig, Wallace & Alexander, but TBH the painting focuses much more on Ally McCoist.
  15. If we go through, then the ticket office is going to have a busy three days on Monday, Tuesday & Wednesday!
  16. I bought my brother & I tickets in MRE last night.
  17. That's the predictions thread now up for the Rangers v QoS match - Predictions for Rangers v QoS - Premiership Play-Off QF2 (GPL game 50)
  18. As ideas go, it definitely comes into the wacky category.
  19. Still haven't decided what section to sit in for this one. I've been trying out different sections this season and enjoyed the Hearts game from SW5 because the atmosphere was great. I'm tempted to check out CD4 though because I've not been in that section before. Any suggestions?
  20. Monday, 11 May 2015 13:00 Back The Gers At Ibrox Written by Rangers Football Club RANGERS will welcome James Fowler’s Doonhamers to Ibrox for the second leg of the Premiership Play-off quarter final next Sunday and you can be there to back the Gers for just £5! Stuart McCall’s men carry a 2-1 lead into the second leg thanks to goals from Steven Smith and Dean Shiels at Palmerston on Saturday. The second leg of the playoff is at the home of the Light Blues next Sunday and with the board taking the decision to make tickets just £5 for all fans there has been a large demand for tickets already. Several pricing structures, including allowing season-ticket holders free admission with other fans paying between £5 and £20, were studied but it is believed the most favourable option for the Club and its supporters is a flat price of £5. This pricing means the Club can cover the costs of staging the match – between £70,000 and £80,000 – and at the same time comply with the SPFL rule, which demands a 50% levy from gate receipts after VAT (but not the Club’s costs) has been deducted. The cost to the Club of allowing season-ticket holders free admission would have been substantial after accounting for the levy that would be due to the SPFL. The £5 ticket price for all will ensure as many supporters as possible can back the team and should we progress to the next stage of the play-offs our pricing policy will not change. Fans can purchase match tickets by calling the Rangers Tickets Hotline on 0871 702 1972 (option 1). The Hotline is open all week from 9am-9pm. The easiest way to buy is to purchase using the Online Sales website here which is available 24 hours a day. Tickets purchased online will be posted to fans prior to the game. The Ticket Centre is open Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday 9am until 5pm. Thursday 9am until 6pm, Saturday 10am until 2pm and is open until kick off on Sunday. Bar 72 and Section MLF season-ticket holders should note smartcards for this match will be activated automatically. http://www.rangers.co.uk/news/club-news/item/9227-back-the-gers-at-ibrox
  21. I try my best.
  22. It's not exactly great writing and as others have said, it doesn't tell us much if anything which we didn't already know, but at least his commentary is a step up from clowns like Merlin and Mad Phil.
  23. A win's a win, but even still.... Ouch!
  24. I quite like Jackson's "wiggery-pokery" patter.
