  1. Interesting to hear what Stuart McCall had to say about this in the presser today. He basically laughed it off, but in a roundabout way suggested it was maybe related to a previous rivalry between himself and Karl Robinson.
  2. Friday, 15 May 2015 16:00 Youth Cup Final Details Written by Rangers Football Club THE Little Big Shot Youth Cup Final between Celtic and Rangers will be shown live on YouTube. The final of Scotland’s premier youth tournament at Hampden Park on Thursday 21st May will be available to watch FREE on http://www.youtube.com/ScottishCupOfficial Following discussions between the Scottish FA, Celtic, Rangers and Police Scotland, it has been jointly agreed that tickets for the match will not go on general sale. Please note this means that tickets will not be available to buy at the stadium on match day. Both clubs will distribute an allocation of tickets through their community and academy programmes, after the success of a similar approach when Celtic and Rangers under-17s met in this year’s Glasgow Cup Final at the National Stadium. Scottish FA chief executive, Stewart Regan, said: “The Little Big Shot Youth Cup Final is the pinnacle of the season for under-20 clubs and the aim for everyone involved in this match is to make sure that it is an enjoyable occasion. “We thank Celtic, Rangers and Police Scotland for their valuable input on match planning, and we are confident that, after agreeing this joint approach, young fans, players and club staff will enjoy a great display of football at Hampden on 21st May.” ___________________________________________________ Little Big Shot Youth Cup Final 2015 Celtic v Rangers Thursday 21st May 2015, kick-off 7.30 pm Hampden Park, Glasgow http://www.rangers.co.uk/news/academy-news/item/9272-youth-cup-final-details
  3. Hopefully this gets sorted out next week so that the Club can move out of this period of limbo.
  4. That's great news if true! Even with a few thousand not turning up we'll hopefully still have over 45k actually in the stadium which would probably be the biggest crowd of the season.
  5. Don't forget to post your predictions for Sunday's match!!! Do it here - Predictions for Rangers v QoS - Premiership Play-Off QF2 (GPL game 50)
  6. I've copied your latest match report post in here too elfideldo. In your case, there's no hassle with you posting it in both places if you want to mate.
  7. The unyielding lack of faith and utter distaste a small section of our support have in Dave King amazes me. First it was 'where's your shares Dave?'. Now he's the largest shareholder, so that one's put to bed. Now it's turned onto this 'fit and proper person' nonsense and 'where's your money Dave?'. How about we just give Dave King and the new board time to sort the mess out? Graham Wallace was given over 4 months to produce a 'business review' and at the moment it's only just over 2 months since the EGM!!
  8. Was he asked about it? Maybe he was sworn to secrecy....
  9. It's quite late now, so we might not hear anything official about this tonight.
  10. Yes of course, but he's the Chief Executive and in that role he's essentially in charge of bringing as much revenue into the SPFL from broadcasting and sponsorship as possible. My point wasn't that it's all his fault though, it was that Doncaster appears to have tried to paint a picture of the new sponsorship deal being the best deal Scottish football's ever had, when it would seem as though it isn't that at all. He did it in a sneaky way though because in at least one of the interviews he mentioned it as being the best deal the Scottish Football League has ever had in 125 years, but the Scottish Football League no longer exists following the suspiciously rushed merger with the SPL to form the SPFL.
  11. He's not just detached from reality, he's a super-fly snake oil salesman. Telling us it's the best deal the Scottish Football League have ever had in 125 years is pretty fresh when he's just taken part in merging the 125 year old Scottish footballing institution into SPIFFEL.
  12. We've been getting averages of 3k to 4k ST holders not turning up even since the new board came in and the new management team were brought in.
  13. No this was an interview conducted by the STV reporter mate. [sidenote] - Pete, I've added a link to the bottom of your post in the OP. You need to remember to do this mate, or else we could be pulled up for copyright infringement.
  14. I've found the article pete posted (which is HERE including videos) and it reads to me like this interview was conducted by STV's reporter Raman Bhardwaj. Was he on BBC's Sportsound program?
  15. Cue the yahoo meltdown if he has! BH will be gutted as well.

  17. This season with 10 teams in our league hasn't seemed too bad, but sometimes it used to be absolute torture even with 12 teams. Between the 08/09 & 09/10 seasons we played Hamilton Accies 10 times because we drew them in the Cups as well as playing the 3 league games per season against them.
  18. To be fair to the reporter (whoever that was? pete! no link and no writer credit again!!) asking the obnoxious shit stirring questions, that's what's required with guys like Doncaster and Regan who seem to be experts at lying about what a disaster they've overseen in Scottish football.
  19. The word obnoxious sums the interview and Neil Doncaster himself up perfectly.
  20. In fact, my mistake, I think he transferred his RIFC holdings to MASH just before MASH called an EGM in October.
  21. Assuming the info is correct, then as der Berliner pointed out, the old Clydesdale Bank deal was worth £2m per year purely for the SPL/Premier League because the old SFL had their own sponsorship deals (latterly Irn-Bru & Bell's before that). So, it would look as though the new Ladbrokes SPFL deal is considerably worse than the old SPL & SFL deals combined.
  22. Maybe this is why he transferred his holdings from one company to another.
