I've been quite critical of Lundstram and he didn't start with us at all well, but no one can deny he had good games too since then. Not sure you can have a player like that and not use him. Especially when the squad is so depleted. You are bang on and hopefully we can move him on if we are not using him. otherwise it may look a little like cutting off your nose to spite your face.

A few concerns that have developed over the last few games: James Sands is essentially a CB playing in midfield and doesn't offer much from what I've seen of him in these two games The wingers play really wide (as wingers do) leaving the lone striker very isolated Midfield doesn't really seem to have a shape or logic to it, just some bodies on the park. Manager said he was limited in midfielders, yet Lundstram was left on the bench and didn't feature at all. Pretty clear the manage doesn't rate him. Itten looks miles off it. Either not fit or not good enough. Leaning towards the latter. Our attacking fullbacks seem to have been completely nullified. Tav tried but had to come inside for the most part. (I know Borna set up the goal) Wright struggled. Hagi syndrome. Didn't go well early on then spiralled into trying to hard Getting Arfield, Roofe, Kent, Aribo and Jack back is massive for us. Roofes movement made a difference. Livi are a very well organised side and hard to beat. We were restricted to and scored from half chances last night. Looking forward to the Ross Country game and hopefully the changes make a real difference.

Kent has been very poor this season from the standards i would expect of him. He cost us a massive transfer fee, is out of contract year after this and doesnt look like renewing. Currently we may struggle to make our money back on him. And yes he should be getting more spotlight than some others. Hagi also been very poor compared to last season. Hagi has great potential but as time goes I'm not sure it will be realised. He always seems to do things in flashes and moments but for the most part stumbling about and playing bad passes. And I'm a massive fan of Hagi in general. I just feel Wright has contributed better coming off the bench rather than starting. Not sure how that's whipping. Its a squad game not everyone is going to contribute like Tav/Goldson/Morelos. We need some squad fillers. Every team does.

Its a squad game and every team needs a guy that will start a handful of games a year and make an impact off the bench. OGS at Man U is the most famous example of this but its a squad game and Wright is a good squad player. I don't think he is good enough to start every week.

I agree with Craig and our manager has said many times, if we bring in a player he has to be better than what we have. Our squad is bloated at the moment and we need to be more efficient with player trading in and out. Cant be paying Barkers 10k a week to do nothing. In the same way cant be paying guys 30k a week for not playing every week, either through injury or not being selected.

Good for Danish national side which is very strong at the moment. Plays as a right winger but loves to cut inside. Bologna play a 3-5-2 and use him at RWB which doesn't suit. He would tear it up for us playing against park the bus. Loves cutting inside and shooting from the edge of the box. Will happily take a man on and commit. About 6"2 so a decent size. Not Sakala fast but not a slouch either. Don't think we will get him in the end up but if we have 5 million to spend I'd roll the dice on this guy. We will likely lose Aribo and Kent in the summer if they don't renew so we would be gambling slightly but this guy is a good option.

If Arfield is ready then great. Probably Kamara - Lundstram - Arfield. Not sure we need Sands for this type of game.

Wouldn't be surprised if Aribo came straight back into the team for Wed. We are very light.

We have conceded 3 goals since GvB took over. One was a penalty given away by a forward. I grew up in the 9iar era and for me the biggest difference between that team and this one is in the midfield. We are very short in that area currently. I can see your point of view but i think we are covered and don't want to give hearts any money. I dont see Soutter as a first choice - i think he will replace Baloguns spot and not replace Goldson or Helander who will be first choice picks. We need to stop being held to ransom by other Scottish clubs. We hold all the cards here and 300k isn't a throwaway for us given we haven't spent any money on transfers in since last summer (i think?)
