  1. Feel for the manager, this window has been sad. We don't really need anyone to stumble to 2nd but trying to get in some guys how could bed in for next season would have been nice, oh well. Lovelace to Millwall is our last deal of the window.
  2. Just had a dreaded WhatsApp.. Lyall Cameron to be announced by us at 3. That'll be him joining Aberdeen then
  3. Seen this rubbished by some Dutch journo on X, not to say it still wont happen just that it doesn't seem likely.
  4. If they are going to be asked by a colleague (who is a top level referee themself) to review footage of an incident, because the VAR ref reckons the on field referee has made an error. But somehow decide to stick to a decision, it almost seems like a complete disagreement between the ref and the VAR team. VAR is a great tool for referees. I bet there are thousands of referees in history who made bad on field calls wish they had a real time video replay to confirm or deny a decision. If there is this continued upturn in referees in SPFL stick to on field decisions that says to me a problem with the process, or an issue between the on field ref and VAR room ref interpreting the rules differently and probably highlights why we get so much inconsistency from refs in the SPFL. Its in Collums best interests to make sure all are aligned or he shouldn't last long in the role.
  5. Borna Barisic on his way to Lecce to replace Dorgu who Man U bought for 35 million. Poor Lecce. Borna didn’t last long in Turkey. Didn’t play much.
  6. Since Ulderink has disappeared we seem to be a threat from corners and and set pieces.
  7. Coefficient points is great news for the other mob, straight into the CL every year for them.
  8. The prize money talk is nice to see but until we see the accounts and how much we have to pay-out for costs and staff bonuses etc its not a great indicator of the real value add.
  9. Stevens has been involved in England squads for his age groups and at his age needs to be playing.
  10. Manager deserves great credit for this. We’ve been poor domestically no denying but to get this finish with our fixtures (I think we were the only team to finish top 8 having played 4 of the top 8 ) is a very good outcome.
  11. Great result tonight and terrific achievement finishing top 8. Manager and team deserve a lot of credit. Now start doing it in the league.. 😂😂
  12. Good point however - 1) He left in the summer before their injury crisis escalated 2) Spurs manager is known to run players into the ground
  13. Looking at the posts in this and many other threads there is a common theme. Winning is everything, and when we are not winning everything is hyper analysed and critiqued. If we were paying Dessers half what we are paying him (which is estimated to be what Kyogo was earning when he first arrived) then everyone would be happy with his contribution in isolation. Our lack of success wouldn't be as much of a factor, though it always really factors. As many have said Dessers has been a victim of circumstance for the most part. When he is scoring he is not doing enough as we are not competitive, when he is not scoring we are not competitive and no one is available to fill the gap. We also have had too many, and still do on high wages contributing nothing which while isnt his fault, he is a sellable asset while others offer nothing with no resale value. Its possible he stays with us for the next few seasons, we rack up some titles and trophies and he leaves a cult hero.
  14. We’ve appointed former spurs sports science guy Sam pooly into our back room team.
  15. Can you guarantee we will be able to sell him in the summer? And for as much as we get offered now? Its just kicking the can down the road IMO. The problem of replacing is the same.
  16. No signing is a guarantee. We must gamble given our finances. Koppen & co have shown signs of good luck lately when it comes to gambling,
