  2. 6 managers in 15% of the time, half of the managers in Rangers history have been under david Murray,am I the only one who sees something not right about that. we only have his word for it that he was ready to sell, tell us who was the buyer

  6. I have a suspicion Mendez will be sold for a profit.
  7. I cant quite remember who this one was sung about. maybe DJ. His name is Derek Johnstone hes the leader of the team the greatest centre forward the world has ever seen Hes here hes there, hes everywhere to score a vital goal And as for (any celtic player) You can stick him up yer whole. they dont make them like that anymore, also could be updated.maybe Nacho,he has popped up with a few vital goals
  8. As we approach the festive season, this one was sung to the tune of Noel Noel. Parlane. Parlane, Parlane,Parlane Born is the king of Ibrox Park. Could be updated, who would be the king of Ibrox Park nowadays, Boydy Boydy, perhaps. We used to sing Dollys Braes a lot havent heard it in years
  9. 10/10 to the number 7 for getting back up
  10. Another i remember from the terraces, Singing i am a billy,no a tim singing i am a billy ,no a tim signing i am a billy Am no sa effin silly I am a billy no a tim. I think we were more inventive with songs and chant in the old days, Another good one was after a crap match or defeat,we would chant We want oor money back we want oor money back. Ahh,the old days to be jostled and pushed ,avoiding incoming missiles, wading through pools of stale beer and urine.
  11. Yes the twirling is a hearts thing I remember them doing it on the terraces years ago,and Rangers fans always held the scarves aloft,i think we starting twirling to be different to celtic fans doing the same to the Liverpool song.I also remember when most fans sung walk on except Rangers who as far as I know have never sung walk on.
  12. The first hooligan attire I remember was the scarf tied round the wrist.Sure sign of a hooligan,I remember localised gang fights during the game ,and obligatory pitch invasion. The fans would begin chanting,oh lets invade the park,oh lets invade the park, the city of glasgow police would then scurry around in case they carried out their threat.
  13. As a boy in the early seventies I remember being in the centenary stand with my father, seated next to 2 aberdeen fans, there was no problem then. I think it is one sided, from Aberdeen.Always thought it would be a laugh to sing we hate celtic more than you to Aberdeen fans. Thanks for a good read
  14. My Ibrox days began in the violent 70s, there are lots of songs I remember. I was walkin doon the copeland rd singing the sash along came a ****** said it was trash kicked him in the balls and kicked him in the head now that ****** is dead., nanananannananananananana now that ******. is dead sorry about using the F word, its only a memory.....Can anyone remember singing one in a row after the first goal.
  15. We have been going round in circles since the nineteenth century. It suits the powers that be,divide and conquer.
  16. Thank you Frankie; What was David Murrays vision for Rangers when he got a bargain buy.European elite was the future ,has that materialised ,No.Will it materialise?,not in my view,so that means despite the glories it is ultimate failure. I am fed up hearing how David Murray has ploughed millions of his own money(and some of mine) into Rangers and we should recognise that. I dont, has he suffered financial hardship through ploughing millions of his money into Rangers.I doubt it. just my opinion carldvelle
  17. All the best to craig,i remember a game i think it was a european game, after a high jump for the ball,he landed straight down on his head, i thought his neck must have been broken,at least.Thankfully he got up none the worse. Im sure he will come back from this.
