  1. That'll be the same website with more Bheasts than Bears.
  2. Just because their goals came from breaks doesn't make it a "freak" result. It's what good teams do. It's why they're on 6 points and we're on 1. Too many players in blue didn't play to their best tonight, you get away with it against Queen of the South but unfortunately not against one of the top sides in Europe. Rangers just have to forget about tonight and prepare for Sunday.
  3. Fuck off and don't come back.
  4. I heard Rangers fans started it.
  5. It is frankly scandalous that Rangers have only ever reacted to negative stories in the mhedia when they have directly implicated Murray, or indirectly, as in when he sold out on TBB for a knighthood.
  6. You don't like Graham Spiers? Don't buy his newspapers. If you don't like the BBC, you still have to give them £146 of your hard-earned every year. It's not nice forcibly funding systematic hatred of Rangers.
  7. Did the RST ever give a reason for not supporting the last demo at Pacific Quay?
  8. Aye.......
  9. Tom Murphy (cheat) wrongly chalked off a perfectly legitimate Kris Boyd goal at Fir Park in November 2008. Tom Murphy (cheat) wrongly dissallowed DaMarcus Beasley's clearly onside last-minute 'winner' at Pittodrie in August 2008. Tom Murphy (cheat) wrongly allowed a clearly offside Scott McDonald goal in the crucial April 2008 Old Firm clash. Tom Murphy (cheat) is a cheat. Watch him work his 'honest mistake' magic at the weekend. Corrupt Celtic-loving bastard.
  10. NOT THE WORST?!?!? :ffs::ffs:
  11. RST eh? I'm saying 8-pager Delighted the BBC is finally on the agenda with these people.
  12. "Give me transfer funds or I'll quit club" Don't give him the money! :fish:
  13. Spot on, but it was never valid criticism from bheasts, as we know and they know what their answer would be if we asked them what they would rather: played defensive football and won the UEFA Cup, or played attacking and gone out in the 3rd round.
  14. You're right to point out how good our recent record is S_A. My only concern is that Sevilla are significantly better opposition than those in the "Won" column. That said, to have lost only twice in that period is pretty good going. Always was an underrated manager Big Eck :fish: Oh and I was at that Auxerre game
  15. Tragic. I'm convinced most of the online Rangers community doesn't really give a toss about the things that really matter regarding the future direction of the club. Far more important to have 10-pagers on new shirt designs and which player you'd name your dog after.
  16. I suspect if it means anything it means Smith will get a contract until the summer, rather than working without one as previously agreed, which does strike me as a tad dodgy in any case.
  17. You could say that against Barcelona, Madrid, anyone.
  18. Rangers 0 - 2 Sevilla
  19. Let's hope there's enough fans in the stadium to generate such noise. 38,000 tickets sold as of this afternoon was one rumour.

  21. I dare you to start a Boyd thread Shroomz
  22. Aberdeen are a reasonable example. Under both Calderwood and McGhee they have persevered with some real shite, I mean First Division players, with at time disastrous or hilarious outcomes depending on your allegiance. Yesterday they started a 16 year old, a 17 year old and an 18 year old and at times ran us ragged. I've mentioned bad attitude from some of our players before, i.e. they see the fixture list, see 'Queen of the South' or 'Motherwell' and open games at 60%. It can be hard to recover when you set out like that from kick-off. For all that youngsters may harbour an element of naivety in other parts of their game, it's very rare to see a youth player give anything less than 100% on the park. The result for Aberdeen yesterday was they came as close to ending The Silence of the Sheep as they have for many a year. Some of our players need to take a serious look at themselves and ask themselves if they are really earning their vast salaries.
  23. Here's the rub: I bet you Boyd scores 20+ goals this season. Even if that's more difficult from the bench. He can be as shite as he wants so long as he has that up his sleeve. And Miller....? It wasn't Kenny Miller who won the title last season. We all know who did. God only knows why there's still a Boyd debate.
  24. I'm not sure there's a better example of going round in circles than this. I think Le Guen got a raw deal, you don't. The End.
  25. That argument just makes no sense to me. What exactly should he have done to be "deserving" of more than six months? Lack of a 'sports scientist' does nothing to explain Ricksen and the Monster Munch clique and their petulant refusal to comply with Le Guen's strict regime. I say strict, but in reality it was 7am starts and no booze-related misdemeanors. Or in other words, the real world. A "lack of professionalism"? I find it astonishing Le Guen can be accused of that given what was going on elsewhere at the club at the time. Burley had one good season eight years ago. Since then he has got Ipswich relegated, had eight games at Hearts and taken Southampton to the brink of relegation to the third tier, all before fucking up the good work of Smith and McLeish at the national team. Le Guen won three consecutive French league championships. After leaving Rangers he revived PSG from relegation candidates to title challengers. To compare Le Guen with Burley is ludicrous. I'll repeat, I think Le Guen underestimated Scottish football. But the convenient airbrushing of all the other mitigating circumstances during that time, and the subsequent deification of Smith, does a disservice to the truth of what was happening at the club. Like I say, mutiny. Your captain refuses to work with you. He has your leading scorer as his minion. You're fucked. Ferguson's antics at Loch Lomond and Boyd's at Murray Park around the same time have shown Le Guen to be in the right. Only the short-sighted would have backed Ferguson. He should have been sacked with immediate effect.
