...and the ultimate advert for sticking by a manager.

My Premiership teams of the season.
Norris Cole replied to Norris Cole's topic in General Football Chat
As far as Manager of the Year is concerned I would go for Tony Pulis over Hodgson, just. Hodgson has had more money to build a team, whereas Pulis has taken a team of unknowns to 11th place, which in a league like the Premiership is an incredible achievement. I also like his baseball cap (remember Bert Paton at Dunfermline LOL). Disagree over Liverpool. Although they've given their best title challenge for a long time, if you look at the two squads I reckon Liverpool on the whole have better players than Man Utd. Wenger and Mourinho managed to triumph over Ferguson. Benitez hasn't. -
Stoke City and Fulham. Thoughts?
-
Absolutely. The professionalism of guys like Giggs, Scholes, and even Rooney, contrasts sharply with a wee gimp like Ronaldo. Giggs' medal haul is absolutely colossal. I make it 10 titles, plus a bunch of cups, a ECWC and 3 CLs if they beat Barcelona. Staggering.

Disappointing to see Paisley Celtic win today. Wouldn't it be a shame if they went down on goal difference.
-
Didn't realise they'd won the league. Hope they go on and pump FC Corruption in the CL now.

Can we have a sweepstake over what Liewell will say? Sporting integrity, wibble...
-
It sure was, yet wasn't it strange how kind the mhedia were to him? Or perhaps not... Livi were well adrift when Gough took over and never received the credit he was due for rescuing them that season. He left because he fell out with the Sellick-loving board. That was his only managerial job, so to state that "Gough's already proven he can't cut it as a manager" is as ridiculous as it is ill-informed.

should be banned from Ibrox Stadium with immediate effect. The full repertoire today again. Why these neanderthals continue to receive such a compliant press is truly beyond me. Evil, evil scum.
-
Despite some of the hopeful 'Keep Believing'-type posts on here we all knew deep down that it was over after Wednesday night. Celtic will win comfortably tomorrow, comfortably, and anyone who thinks we are favourites to win at a ground we've won once at in five years next Sunday needs their head checking.

Davis' problem is the same as the team's - he doesn't play for 90 minutes. I did think he had a good first half. The ball just didn't break for us at times in that first half. Papac MOTM by the proverbial country mile.
-
There's no "seem to" about it. Never has "Who's the fenian in the black" been more appropriate. Good to see the majority of fans still have some balls left even if the club doesn't. Let the world know Scottish football is corrupt. Unfortunately none of this should be allowed to detract from how woeful our team and management are.
-
After the lack of urgency shown in the first half, Walter should be f*cking ashamed to darken the corridors of Ibrox again. I understand the argument that it's the players who carry out the business on the park, but the motivation of those players is a reflection on the management team i.e. Walter and Ally. Those players should have been made aware in no uncertain terms that they were playing for their careers today. Oh, and as for the Bougherra sending off: please Rangers, spare us the dignified silence shite and grow a pair. Look where it's got us these past couple of years. Amid the negativity I feel it's only right to point out that Sasa Papac and Steve Davis both had good games and showed the requisite character and determination. Pity some of the others aren't as arsed about winning the title.

I'm under the impression not until next season, though I'm ready and willing to be shot down over that. Dougal knew what he was doing.
-
Shocking from Lafferty but seeing as it was against Snake's Belly FC I have no problem with it. If anything though it has harmed our chances because Dhougal sent off Bougherra for no other reason than to even things up and now he's out of the Dundee United game, which we will almost certainly not win now.
-
Absolute nonsense. You were obviously out of the country when he brought Livingston back from the dead.
-
My first instinct is we don't need a player nicknamed 'The Crab' in a game where we need to attack, attack, attack for 90 mins. However if it means getting Pedro the Passenger out the side then I'm all for it.

Make the difference - now with display in Broomloan tomorrow
Norris Cole replied to Frankie's topic in Rangers Chat
They can do and sing as they please with sinister hacks like Graham Spiers around. B.O. Bhoy has on more than one occasion referred to the 'Simmie' song as "Nice One Jimmy". -

Now we know you can't!

Celtic to honour national famine day

Why don't they go home? -
Oh FFS Kirk As for C****c fans they can kiss my hairy arse.

As far as Walter's concerned for his teamtalk on Saturday, it is. Nothing less than a big, big performance tomorrow is required for us to stay in this. How Walter puts out a team to score a load of goals I'm not sure, always difficult to do something you've never done before.

In my defence, I only changed it because the Gersnet spellchecker had it underlined in red
