So taking them 1 at a time, what's the significance of those stats? All of the below excludes OF games and assumes current form to date will continue.

Weekend has come and gone and no follow up statement from the club. I’m assuming the time taken will be worth it.

Dear Bearger, Our last League result, at Parkhead, was the perfect way to end the year and meant we moved into the winter break and 2020 with a sharp focus on what can be achieved in the second half of our domestic and European campaigns. Supporter contribution to our remaining games this season will be vital and fans will continue to provide a source of inspiration to the first-team squad and our coaching staff, in particular at Ibrox, where our 50,000 strong support create an atmosphere which is the envy of most other clubs. As always the club is grateful to our 46,000 season-ticket holders but it would be immensely helpful if fans could inform the club when they are unable to attend matches. By doing so, we could pass on these tickets to other supporters, many of whom are on our season-ticket waiting list which currently sits at 15,000. As we enter a potentially defining period for the club, we urge every season-ticket holder to back the team in person at Ibrox Stadium, no matter who the opposition might be. However, we fully understand the demands of modern working practices and family-life commitments must take priority at times so we have relaunched the Seat Sub platform, which offers an easy way to exchange seats when fans cannot make games. Under this scheme the club will return 50% of the ticket price for resold seats to supporters unable to attend matches to be credited against their 2020/21 season ticket. So, if you can’t attend, please use the Seat Sub platform so that another supporter may have the opportunity to attend and help ensure we keep Ibrox roaring for every last minute of this 2020/21 season. If you use the scheme throughout January, you will be entered into a draw to win an exclusive, behind the scenes tour of the Hummel Training Centre. For more information or to release your seat for our games against St Mirren or Ross County, visit rangers.co.uk/seatsub Yours sincerely, Stewart Robertson Steven Gerrard Managing Director Manager

Find it hard to believe we would spend that money on a player who has played all his senior career in the second tier of French football. Scored 22 goals in 107 appearances according to Wikipedia. -

Is that to do with Club1872 regs? Or it would just take up too much of your time?

Club 1872 Board Elections - Applications Dear Member, The Club 1872 board elections have been delayed for a significant period of time due to the process of adopting new Articles of Association for Club 1872 Shares CIC, in conjunction with the CIC Regulator. This delay was regrettable and we apologise for it, but the continuity provided by the current board overseeing this process was very important. We thank the Regulator for her help in assisting the current board to put in place a robust and transparent governance framework for the organisation which will serve it very well in the years to come. Now that this work has been completed, the Club 1872 companies are accepting applications for the Club 1872 boards. We would welcome candidates who can commit the time and energy required to achieve the aims of Club 1872. The eligibility requirements are laid out below. Candidates should note that on election they will be appointed to the under-noted companies: Club 1872 Shares CIC, Club 1872 Projects CIC, Club 1872 Limited and Supporters Voice Limited. Each company is separate and independent and candidates must be willing to serve on each of the companies’ boards for a term of 3 years. Applications Applications should be completed on a Club 1872 Board Application form (download by clicking here) and e-mailed to applications@club1872.co.uk. Candidates will also be required to sign further documents as part of the application process including a Directors’ Role document. These documents will be provided to candidates on receipt of their application form so we would ask them to ensure that their application form is received at least 24 hours prior to the deadline to allow these further forms to be completed. We will accept scanned copies of all documents prior to the application deadline as long as paper copies follow in a timely fashion. All paper forms should be printed, signed by the applicant and posted or hand delivered to: Club 1872, Second Floor, Copland House, Edmiston Drive, Glasgow G51 2XF All applications will be acknowledged by e-mail. If you are in any doubt or have any other questions, please contact info@club1872.co.uk. Applications for board positions must be received no later than 5pm on 24th January 2020. There are 5 board places in total. Only 3 of these places are free at this election as Euan Macfarlane and Joanne Percival were affirmed by members in 2018 and have just under two years of their terms remaining. The Club 1872 board is very pleased to make members aware that existing directors, Laura Fawkes and Reverend Stuart MacQuarrie, have confirmed their intention to seek re-election. Candidates require 15 proposers. Candidates and proposers must be either life members or have been donating monthly contributors for a continuous period of at least six months prior to the date of this notice. Candidates must be capable of being appointed as a director of a company. All information on the candidate’s application form must be factually accurate. Any candidate who is found to provide false information either on their application form or during the election process will be subject to removal from the process. All details contained in candidate applications and supporting documentation (excluding personal information such as postal address details, email address and phone number) may be published on the Club 1872 website. Further details of the election process will be published following the completion of the application process. Club 1872

The club article refers to him as Mr Brown throughout. Seems a bit old fashioned, is this due to his age and the times when he played and managed?
-
https://rangers.co.uk/news/headlines/bobby-brown-1923-2020/ 15 January 2020, 19:30 by Rangers Football Club EVERYONE at Rangers FC is in mourning today after learning that club legend and former Scotland goalkeeper and manager Bobby Brown has sadly passed away at the age of 96. Mr Brown, from Dunipace, joined Bill Struth’s Light Blues from Queen’s Park in 1946 and in his decade long spell at Ibrox he made 296 appearances, keeping 109 clean sheets. For six years – between 10 August 1946 and 16 April 1952 – he never missed a league game, playing in an astonishing run of 179 matches. Prior to that, in January 1946, he was handed the first of his five Scotland caps, making his debut in a 2-2 draw against Belgium at Hampden Park. Tall, blond and agile, Mr Brown was the last line in a famous Rangers defence which became known as the Iron Curtain and also featured George Young, Jock Shaw, Ian McColl, Willie Woodburn and Sammy Cox. He played as a part-timer throughout his Gers career, combining football with life as a schoolmaster. He also had what was then the unusual habit of making sure he turned out with a new pair of white laces in his boots for every game he played in. After succeeding Jerry Dawson between the posts, one of Rangers’ finest goalkeepers who had been at the club since 1929, Mr Brown was to win three League Championships (1946/47, 1948/49 and 1949/50), three Scottish Cups (1948, 1949 and 1950) and two League Cups (1946/47 and 1948/49). Indeed, he was an ever-present during the historic 1948/49 season when Rangers became the first team to win the treble. In May 1956, Mr Brown was transferred to Falkirk for £2,200 but within a year he had retired from playing and later became manager of St Johnstone, guiding them into the top division. In February 1967 he was appointed manager of Scotland, a position he held until July 1971. Although the national team failed to qualify for the 1970 World Cup, Mr Brown had the satisfaction of a famous 3-2 victory over reigning world champions England in a European Championship qualifier at Wembley. He was inducted into the Scottish Football Hall of Fame in 2015 having previously been inducted into the Rangers Hall of Fame in 2002. Mr Brown, who lived in Helensburgh, was a regular guest at Rangers games in recent years and everyone at the club sends their condolences to his family at this difficult time. Rangers Chairman Dave King said: “All of us connected with Rangers are deeply saddened to hear that Mr Brown, a genuine Rangers and Scotland legend, has passed away. Our thoughts are with Mr. Brown’s family at this time. “He was a wonderful servant of our club and we will remember him with great fondness. He was a gentleman of the game and set standards which typify what Rangers is about.”

Club 1872 comment on continued media targeting of Alfredo Morelos Dear Member Club 1872 informed members and Rangers supporters last week that we were taking forward a complaint about an article that appeared in the Sun newspaper which included quotes from a man they appear to have falsely presented as both a psychiatrist and a psychologist. We have now submitted this complaint to IPSO and will update members and supporters on that process at its conclusion. We are also aware of a column by Bill Leckie in the same newspaper which is full of the type of xenophobic and offensive comment which has become common place in tabloid newspapers when discussing Alfredo Morelos. Unfortunately opinion, no matter how malicious or idiotic, is not covered under IPSO regulations and we cannot use this method to challenge this column. Club 1872 is a major shareholder in the club and it is clear that this type of reporting is designed to damage the Rangers brand and create a toxic environment at a time when Rangers supporters are rightly optimistic about the future. On that basis, we remain in dialogue with Rangers about medium and longer term strategies to challenge irresponsible articles like this about our club, fans and players. We have also written to Scottish Sun Editor, Alan Muir, asking for an explanation of how Mr Leckie's description of Alfredo Morelos as a "waster" sits with their Respect Our Players campaign. It appears the Scottish Sun believes this campaign should not apply to its own columnists. We would remind Rangers supporters that the Scottish Sun, and indeed the Daily Record and other tabloid newspapers, are commercial organisations. They rely on your clicks, shares and purchases to survive. Whilst they continue to receive these clicks and shares they will continue to produce this type of content. When we ran our Change the Record campaign it had a visible effect on the number of shares and clicks for that newspaper - with many supporters choosing to block Daily Record accounts on social media. It cannot be emphasised enough how strong the position of our supporters is in dealing with this issue, if we are prepared act in unison and take decisive action. If you feel the need to comment on these type of attacks on our players and club - and we understand why people wish to do that - then we would urge you to use screenshots on social media rather than sharing links. In the meantime, there are a number of outlets which Rangers supporters can use for news about our club. These outlets provide a wealth of content including club news and debate. We have included a link to a standalone page with detail of these outlets below. It is particularly worth noting that Rangers’ own social media channels provide quicker access to regular press conference content than tabloids and that you can hear the management and players’ comments without the filter often applied to them by dishonest reporting.
