Boogie looks a tad overweight.
-
I thought he signed for some English mob.
-
I doubt very much if it'll be a sell out.
-
Yip, I noticed that myself. Pretty shocking to be honest! In saying that, they won a cup, we never! :spl:
-
I agree. I have my doubts about him but that's down to the manager potentially playing him out on the left. If he plays him as a striker or behind the front pair or player then I reckon he could do a job for us.
-
Why mentioned that he was a "former Killie man"? He plays for us now and has done for nearly 3 years (I think). A "hit" out on the left or the right or as a striker Walter or perhaps a central midfielder or maybe even as a full back? I reckon he'll be a "hit" from the subs bench for the majority of games.
-
Was that not the season we got to the UEFA Cup Final?
-
They'll think they can win the CL now
-
If you played Football Manager you'd have known that.
-
Lafferty has played out on the left before for us and he was disappointing. We all know what Walter thinks about playing players out of position.
-
Both games we played with two upfront.
-
So how long do you give them before judging?
-
Boyd has played games against Celtic and in Europe, not many I'll give you that but in those games he hasn't given WS or the fans any indication that he's good enough to play the role
-
Johnny comment gave me the impression that no one, after being labelled useless came back and made the fans eat their words.
-
Happy days. Useless big lump.
-
What about Mark Hateley? He was useless when he first signed but won the fans over. Silly comment to come away with Johnny.
-
Yip, I agree but WS won't change his tactics to suit Boyd.
-
Have to agree there. With the exception of Velicka and possibly Lafferty our other strikers (Miller and Novo) panic when they're in front of goal and often miss more than they score. Boyd needs to play.
-
He doesn't play because WS prefers the 4-5-1 formation in europe and at Parkhead and we all know Boyd is utter gash at playing the lone striker role.
-
I like your way of thinking but WS seems to lean towards a negative style of play so midfielders puishing further up the park isn't an obvious move if we bring in a younger, fitter replacement for Weir. Last season one of our problems was that our midfield was sitting far too deep and not supporting the attackers. When balls dropped outside the box no one was there to pick the ball up. Hopefully WS can address that problem for the new season starting.
-
Hahaha! With a full strength team playing as well. . Get it right up ye Newcastle. What a horrendous result.
-
According to the NOTW. Good move for him. Tony Hibbert is Evertons usual RB and Hutton is miles better than him.
-
The thing is Gribz, St Mirren is our level. We play them a minimum of 3 times a season. We need him to score goals against teams like St Mirren, Hamilton and Killie.
-
When did I mention anything about McCormack proving his worth at Rangers? I think McCormack has gone onto have a successful career away from Rangers. He's been a 1st team regular and scored goals at Motherwell and Cardiff.
-
Look at KT, he was immense up until November when he got injured. If he prove his worth why couldn't Naismith? Like I said earlier, I don't rest all the blame with Naismith.
