Jack Irvine tells Rangers fans to 'get a grip'...
aweebluesoandso replied to Frankie's topic in Rangers Chat
I would like to get a grip, of Toxic's throat. I'm purely fantasising here and wish no physical harm on JI. -
Speirs is one of those snobs Dr Waiton talks about, Spiers thinks he's a intellectual heavyweight and looks down his nose at football supporters. However when challenged by men of intellect, he's quickly shown up as an hypocritical intellectual pygmy, with Tourette's Syndrome and a bad case of Munchausen by Proxy when talking about Rangers and Rangers supporters.

Dr Waiton on Rangers, Free Speech and Sectarianism
aweebluesoandso replied to ThatsWhyWeirChamps's topic in Rangers Chat
There is a lot of Horse trading going on behind the scenes, the Catholic Church made their opposition known to gay marriage, The SNP ignored that opposition, but at the same time turns a blind eye to the apartheid schooling, i would say that's a trade off imo. -

They have had more than enough time to start the process to dismantling the apartheid schooling system imo, it took them only a few months to bring in the ridiculous Offensive Behavior and Sectarian legislation. In my opinion they are running scared of the Catholic vote, rather than deal with this expensive dual schooling. I don't know the financial figure but i would argue they will save far more money removing the two school system especially through a dire economic crisis. As for the gay marriage debate , what right has the Catholic church to have any say on how people, gay or otherwise conduct their marriage, apart from stopping it in their Church? Imo again that was an easy win for the SNP, how about tackling the difficult battle of apartheid schooling. -

The fact that Scotland still has apartheid religious schooling paid for from the public purse, at the behest of minority religions, proves that the Scottish government does in fact pander to the Catholic church. -

Have to agree here bb, the legislation will be tightened against us and our songbook, chants etc to come under wider sectarian laws. Their Terrorist glorification anthems, Hun, Orange Bastards, FTQ will be brought in line with free political expression. -

It's unusual but nice to hear a academic who is neutral telling it as it was/is. The sectarian industry was wholly manufactured by Labour to criminalise and demonise one section and one section only of the white working class. That class of people was the Protestant and Rangers supporters community. -

Disgusting but typical of the mentality of Celtic minded. Glorification of terrorism is allowed and encouraged, whilst the press, the government and the police turn a blind eye- 27 replies

aweebluesoandso replied to der Berliner's topic in Rangers Chat
I know one of one of the ground staff a Berwick Rangers, he's a bluenose. He told me playing Rangers twice was like a lottery win for them, further he told me of the great reception their directors and staff had from Ally and his staff and our club. Ok he was probably star struck and a wee bit biased but he is an honest Bear and i could see it was from the heart.- 28 replies

Many TV, film, and football stars get stalkers and trolls following them, purely because of their fame. Lennon on the other hand is infamous so get the attention of a different style of nutter, yes i firmly believe he does bring some of the trouble on himself because he's seen as Bam on the lash, some of the attention he gets is purely because of the fame and notoriety.
