  1. @RangersFC Rangers and Joey Barton have agreed to terminate his contract with immediate effect. Neither Rangers nor Joey Barton will comment further.
  2. If you didn't Latte you would cry.
  3. I'm glad he's took his coffee machine and done one, De'Longhi this went on the worse it was getting.
  4. We have took a Kippering as we brought a pig in a poke. Pay up, move on, before our faces get more redder, if that's possible.
  5. We're a Jekyll and Hyde outfit atm, one week good, one week bad. We can't seem to produce the same consistency of performance over several games, today we reverted back to our slower more methodical build up, slack passing at times and the back pass to big Ford for his scary wishy washy limp pass out.
  6. My worry is what replaces it? As we know Hollyrood is riddled with haters of our club and supporter. Some SMP's have even been caught posting sectarian remarks about us on social media. My concern is they will simply tighten the law to make sure they can pursue us with more vigor, whilst ignoring other club's supporters.
  7. I wanted rid of him tbh, but if he knuckles down, improves his behavior and stops his twitter pish, who knows there may be a way back to the first team?
  8. Always enjoyable viewing watching the Rhats being ripped off by their own hahahaha
  9. I predict Mr Magoo will relegate Motherwell.
  10. We got our crispness back into our play, our passing, movement and closing the opposition down was far sharper than it had been. You don't get the luxury of time on the ball in the top echelon, teams have learned to close us down quickly, press us high. We needed to counter that by picking up our pace, crisp, snappy passing and movement. With McKay not at his best lately, the team missed his quick runs up the wing and cutting pass it into the box for the forwards, or for Wallace overlapping him for the lay off. Windass and Wallace worked a crafty overlap with Windass laying a superbly weighted ball on for Wallace to score his goal. Hopefully we have seen the last of the flat, continual back-passing and slow movement that was being served up. The team needed reinvigorating, the inclusion MOH, Garner, Windass and Forrester, has given us an injection or an erection of pace, haha MW has put Viagra in their Lucozade.
  11. MOH, Garner, Windass, Miller, Tav were all outstanding to for me, Wallace, Halliday and Holt all had a solid performance too.
  12. Hope springs eternal, looking for a better display today, attack for 90 minutes cut out the back passes, i'll leave the rest to MW it's no rocket science.
  13. I'm taking the board's and the managers position on this, firstly let's go back to the start of this debacle. I for one couldn't believe our luck getting a player of the (so called) quality and profile of Joey Barton, i thought this was too good to be true. He was supposedly taking a big pay cut to come to Rangers, a reformed character, fit and focused we were told? He never had a preseason with Rangers so we never really saw what the club was buying, only what we were told, However it quickly became apparent when he finally showed up he wasn't 100% fit, then his twitter patter started noising up Brown and CO. Now if you are going to noise up the opposition you have to be very sure of your abilities, save to say Joey's ability let himself down on that score. What i'm getting at is this, i think the club were told a plausible story about Joey Barton, the old saying there's no fool like and old fool comes to mind here, we were sold a pup. With his twitter rantings, gambling, unfit and general substandard play for a player of his again, so called quality, reformed, new-man reputation. The straw that broke the camels back on this saga was the training ground incident, whatever went on, enough was enough. In Joey's short career at Rangers, the manager and the board already had enough of Joey Barton show and his baggage train. Under normal circumstances getting shot of a disruptive player takes time and patience, however Joey is the architect of his own downfall here, he shot himself in the foot, the club are only trying to clear up his mess.
  14. We should come out and Ciabata Killie on Saturday, then go on a good roll of winning games, we knead the wins.
  15. It's just not the gambling though is it DB, it's a totting up procedure the club will sack him by imo.
  16. Yet? Wait till the SFA deal with Barton re gambling, then sack him.
  17. I said on the other thread about last night's game, that i left Ibrox feeling frustrated. That was true, when i got in and after coming on here for a wee while i put on a recording of the final of The Great British Bake off, well that programme is a good metaphor for the way we are playing at the moment. All the ingredients are there to bake a good cake or bread, MW puts the right measures of ingredients in, mixes it together, proofs it, then bakes it. Sometimes his bakes doesn't rise or looks flat, sometimes a hard or overcooked. It might even taste gash at times or it all comes together and looks and tastes great. This is where the frustration comes in, Mark Warburton is a good baker, as his name would suggest, His preparations are good, his ingredients are good but something is not working, maybe his mixing is wrong or it's the proofing, but whatever time in the Kitchen is essential. I want my cake and to eat it lol
  18. We started well with a good tempo, good passing , possession and attacking, then they scored and we retreated into our shells a wee bit, as the game went on we settled into a pattern of negative possession, by which i mean with that is, ball retention but with little intent or bite. St Johnstone had decent possession to, but the difference was their attacks were threatening, ours looked like we were just going through the drills at times.
  19. Haven't listened or watched BBC Scotland for a few years now, driving up from England i put on Classic Fm. If I've got passengers with me i do it for the shock factor, no one can believe i like Rachmaninoff, then i bang on the Tunes of Loyalty. But i remember Tossgrove, what a git, this has got his MO all over it.
  20. We might have had more possession, but that's because we are playing the ball back and forth, back and forth between the backs and the goalie. We are wasting about twenty minutes a game with negative possession like that.
  21. I still believe the Magic Hat can turn our dip in performance around.
  22. At the moment the way we are playing, average is good, our standards have dropped.
  23. I got what i was hoping for, a start for MOH, Forrester, Garner and Windass. I think they all had a good game, if Windass's screamer had went in we would be saying we are on the right path to a good season. But it didn't and at 1-1 i was left frustrated tbh. My biggest frustration tonight was playing the ball out from the back, it was dire, big Ford seams slow and ponderous with the ball at his feet, his distribution is terrible, add to that players constantly passing the ball back to him, not under any pressure i add, but just because they can. Result is our build play up is slow, ponderous to the point of negative. I am not advocating long ball tactics, no one wants to go back to the dark days hit and hope, but we need to find a middle ground where we can get the ball moving forward at pace and stop the bloody unnecessary constant back passes to the goalie. Did i say MOH, Forrester, garner and Windass were good tonight? They deserve another start on Saturday from that performance from them tonight.
  24. McKay should be rested, but i think we know he won't. Waghorn needs game time but so do others, MOH and Forrester (if he's fit). I would start with MOH tonight and again on Saturday, if he doesn't perform in these two games then i think it's a bit part form him for a while i'm afraid to say. I would like to see Garner get more of a game, but again i think MW would have to change the system to get the best out of him, don't see that happening any time soon? It will be interesting to see how MW sets it up tonight, looking forward to it, i'm travelling up tonight and Saturday get my life back again haha.
  25. I rarely cheered watching paint dry, because that's what it was like back then.
