  1. The poll is tighter than the general election, every vote counts folks.
  2. On the run and keeping a low profile more like it
  3. It's hard to believe that a man in your position does not have access to all manner of devices but hopefully you'll qualify for an upgrade soon.
  4. I think you mean FOR Malaga Thanks for reminding me as I assumed you had found a way to vote on a pc or laptop or other device.
  5. It is difficult to escape the conclusion that they were not comfortable with the then directors assurances about the going concern basis and it is equally difficult to escape the conclusion that they were correct. I believe I alluded to this likely outcome at the time.
  6. Thanks to all those who have voted so far. It is a very close run thing at the moment, so literally every vote does count. The poll will be open till next Sunday night.

  8. So why did he imply that he had a new Nomad lined up?
  9. If King cannot find a NOMAD to take him on then it has nothing to do with the old Board but everything to do with King not being acceptbale under AIM Rules.
  10. I would agree to the extent that McGregor and Zaliukas are our best possible combination.
  11. Could admin please make this a sticky to save me bumping it up for the rest of the week?!
  12. Regardless of that it would be a major blow to King's credibility not just per se but also because he appears to have let it be known that it would be no problem.
  13. Welcome The Deedle and all recent newbies. Consider attending the 3rd Semi Annual Gersnet Dinner where you can put faces and voices to the pseudonyms on here. The first two dinners were a huge success (though I say so myself) with numbers increasing from 12 to 22 in December. http://www.gersnetonline.co.uk/vb/showthread.php?69742-Poll-for-the-Venue-of-the-3rd-Semi-Annual-Gersnet-Dinner Guest speaker will be announced after the venue is decided next weekend.
  14. It was reported on 5 March that: King has been given a month to find a new Nomad but talks are already well advanced and it is expected to present no great obstacle. Business insiders expect the new Nomad to have started due diligence on all potential directors, including King, who has 41 convictions for tax breaches in South Africa but insists there is no barrier to him becoming a member of a UK plc board. If all goes to King’s plan, a new Nomad should be able to move quickly to restore the parent company’s listing on the AIM market and show existing and potential investors the new board is fit and proper to run a London-listed company. http://www.dailyrecord.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/battle-rangers-dave-king-jets-5276856 However, it is dressed up, losing the Company's stock market listing, if that were to happen, is not good news.
  15. Thanks for posting your opinion and apologies for spoiling your sandwiches. Look forward to seeing you there regardless of venue.
  16. It's clear you enjoy both JuanC
  17. I am sure he would be a shining example of the complete professional.
  18. This poll is open to anyone who has an interest in attending the dinner whether they have attended previously or not.
  19. WE need to take anyone to a hotel overnight for a lunch time kick off at Easter Road and we've no money? How about the bus leaves at 10.00am and gets to Easter Road at 11.00am? I hope they weren't in beside the Irish rugby team at the Balmoral.
  20. BTW the main reason why we don't have a 16 team league is the "loss" of 4 x old firm games a season, which was the only reason the broadcasters were interested in Scottish Football at all. Of course that was pre 2012 and all that. Again IMHO Rangers going down was the ideal opportunity to go a 16 team league or indeed 2 leagues of 16 as was proposed in the SDS Fans Plan in 2011 beciase at that point the old firm games were lost anyway.
  21. Now you have identified the real problem which also goes to part of the reason why we don't have a 16 team league. I think we can just about make up 16 full time teams if you take in Falkirk, QoS and Raith (I think but not certain that they are FT). However if you at Italy for example where it is 4 up/4 down then it does mean that you ring the changes and spread the full time football into the lower divisions and give the promoted teams a shot at the top. Hamilton, Inverness and Ross Co have proven that it is not impossible to make the leap. My personal opinion is that it should be straight play-off 9th in the SPL v 2nd in the Championship but as I said, expediency and money dictate otherwise.
  22. We were beating Cowden 14-1 on shots in the first half. Over 90 minutes we had 24 shots, 8 on target and scored 4 goals (and their goalie had two fantastic saves from McCullocch and Mohsni headers at corners); Cowden had 2 shots, both on target and scored 1 goal.
  23. There are two big problems with Mohsni: He thinks he can play football which he cannot; hence his over confidence which leads to mistakes such as v Cowdenbeath and Hibs. He is an absolute disgrace of a person. I have said it before and I will say it again; taking account of his previous misdemeanors he should never have kicked another ball for Rangers after his flying head butt in Derby. Quite simply he is not fit to wear the colours.
  24. I can assure you that the introduction of the play-offs were nothing whatsoever to do with Rangers, they were simply a means of generating more money for teams that were going down from the SPL and to a lesser extent some degree of fairness (though they are loaded in favour of the SPL team) because only one club is autmatically relegated from the SPL. I have you at a bit of a disadvantage here because of the position I was in at the time this was all being discussed but if you want a small wager for charity I'll happily take you on.
