I remember as a kid wearing a West Ham top, Clyde Best played for them at the time? don't know where the **** I got it but I wore it like it was something to be proud of...then I got this Rangers top and suddenly it really meant something and the rest is history really. Come to think of it...it was the shirt we wore in 1972.

I think it'll be the opposite for the simple reason. Every club outside the OF are on a par with most of the 1st Division, the rest barring the bottom half of the 3rd Division are of equal quality, if that's the right word. Scottish football isn't really rocket science, it's just that it's been forgotten about.

Two weeks to kick-off and Rangers have no ST sales, don't even have a licence to sell them....bloody disgrace.

So long as Rangers don't agree to signing the membership agreement with the SFA then and only then will it hit home. When the season kicks-off and there is no Rangers that's when the 'spotlight' will shine brightly on the SFA/SPL. We will eventually get a 'reprieve' three or four weeks into the season with titles intact and no transfer embargo.
