  1. We only have Jela, Lafferty, Healy, Beattie, as our strikers at the club, we have been playing Naismith up-front with Jela but i prefer him playing in Midfield. Is Healy and Beattie going to get much game time, Healy has only came off bench once this season and Beattie hasn't featured at all, and are both good enough if Lafferty or Jela get injured or are both out i don't think so we need a new quality striker imo. I think Beattie will be off loaded by end of the window.
  2. This guy could have been worth punt at the time for peanuts from Dundee i think Ally will bring in a more experienced striker before the window, but we should keep an eye on him to see how he progresses in the future.
  3. Iv'e heard Phil (the murderer) was sending letters of to Uefa and his puppets followed, Rangers have done no wrong lazy journalism at straw clutching.
  4. If Lafferty takes off how he ended the season he will be a big player for us he needs consistancy in his game if he does that this season he will become the real deal imo. This for me is make or break season for him, he seems to have settled down now so heres hoping he does the business.
  5. Not surprised by this had it been a Rangers fan would have been interesting to see the outcome, with not jailing this creton it has opened up a can of worms.
  6. No No No Please Ally this would be a bad move, Don't know if Ally could handle Diouf if he went off the rails.
  7. McCulloch and Edu should never play together again in the same team, i hope Ally now see's that. For me McCulloch is done rumours his knee keeps flaring up and taking injections before games the sad thing is he is on 3yrs left of draining a wage from us. Naismith is better playing in Midfield, Davis is better back in the Middle, Ortiz played in his natural position, Wylde on the left, much more balanced Midfield that will give us more urgency and creativity.
  8. Under the old regime for as bad as it was we did spend £4m on Jelavic who is quality and proved that by helping us win the league. We have gone down the Celtic route quantity over quality brought in 7 players (inc loan) at a cost of about £1.2m. We need to add imo a quality left winger and striker to the squad Whyte has 8 days to deliver or questions will be asked. I would also like to point out we should be getting rid of the deadwood at ibrox getting them off the wage bill.
  9. Rumour has it we have offered Wylde 8k a week.
  10. I would rather we signed a quality defender to relace Bougherra than another loan we have just got Bartley on loan and with Weir, Goian, and Perry and McMillan we would have sufficent cover for the season ahead.
  11. The problem here is, Weir came back for another season because he wanted to play on if he wasn't going to get that would he have come back and is our captain, Goian has been signed a Romanian international has he come to sit on the bench i don't think so, Wenger has sent Bartley back to us on loan he wants him to play first team football, Now Wilson wanting to come back on loan will Dalgleish not want him to get first team football as does he he wants to keep his Scotland place, And Ally has been trying to sign Juhasz/Cuellar to replace Bougherra seems the Cuellar deal is dead and Juhasz. We have Weir, Goian, Bartley, Perry, McMillan, if you add Wilson loan to play CB or a quality CB signing Ally would have a nice headache to choose from.
  12. This is very interesting and doesn't surprise me someone has a major agaenda against us, i hope we go the whole way and bring justice against these people who are trying to damage our club.
  13. We have signed Wallace 1.5m Goian 750k Ortiz 500k comes to 2.750m We have sold Bougherra 1.7m got best part of 1m from Charlie Adam fee comes to 2.7m We havn't touched the 5m Whyte was promising Ally if it does exist we are getting McKay subject to WP for 320k Bedoya will come in on a free in Jan. we were in for Davidson bids up to 400k We will see what happens till the transfer window closes to see if Whyte backs Ally.
  14. As Williamson is a freind of Allys he may know alot more of whats going on at ibrox than we do.
  15. Whyte was aware this tax bill was to be paid the question has to be asked why it hasn't.
  16. Wallace was on last year of his contract and to be fair Hearts got a good price for him as we actually started at 300k and last bid was 750k before we landed him. I was referring to the negotiating with the players who are in contract with clubs we have tried to sign Davidson, Goodwilie, Verhoek, Juhasz.
  17. The deal has been done i believe Rangers are waiting on the work permit coming before deadline tomorrow and he will be signed.
  18. Bougherra has gone there for 35k wk tax free he wont give a toot about whether he is picked or not for national team imo. I still bet he will be picked he has become an important player for Algeria over the last 2 years.
  19. I haven't seen him play but this guy seems to be a quality defender from people who have seen him play, the Belgium league is no EPL in terms of transfer hype prices. I would have thought if we have offered 3.5m for him should have been enough to get him even with a sell on clause etc again maybe it is down to whoever is dealing with the negotiations at our club. I feel this deal is now dead unless we up our offer which i doubt very much.
  20. Kenny Miller didn't want to leave Rangers i know for a fact, he had 6 months left on his contract and was offered a 40% pay cut to stay he was happy to stay on the same wage on a new 3yr deal, Rangers wouldnt give him that he was top scorer of the SPL had scored 20 goals the bank wouldnt sanction him to stay they forced him out. Bursaspor had come in and put money on the table to buy him no other club did that the club/bank wanted the money, Miller was offered a deal he couldnt refuse stay and take a 40% paycut or move on and get paid what he was worth. He wanted a club in the uk as his wife didnt want to move to Turkey as has been proved he waited till end of season for a uk club to come in for him. Ally wanted him back but by the time our board got there finger out he had agreed to join Cardiff Ally was seething privately.
  21. It would seem from our transfer dealing targets we are offering what we think the player is worth and not what the club the player plays for think hes worth. The thing is before an offer for the player goes in the two clubs would have discussed figures i can understand us going in with a low bid to negotiate from, but to keep going in with low after low bids and getting knocked back makes you look idiotic whoever has been doing our transfer negotiations is a clown. If we couldnt afford the original offer the club wanted we shouldnt be going back with low bids we should be walking away end of, its been building up Rangers fans hopes of these players coming to be a big dissapointment.
  22. I take your points mate, Whittaker has been with us 3 years and in my oppinion hasn't improved he may be better going forward on his bambi runs and hits a couple of goals and good ones may i say, but his defending is a shambles he is not a RB look at Wallace for example his defending and positioning and look at Whittakers he gets caught out ball watching 9 out of 10 times in the Hearts game was that not Whittakers man he was picking up when they scored at ibrox. The guy should have been punted he is not good enough to play for the Glasgow Rangers.
  23. Whittaker has cost the club in the 2 games he played against Malmo, its not the first time this has happened he is a liability. I blame Ally for giving in and offering him 20k a week not Whittakers fault. Daniel Cousin was a far better player than Whittaker so no comparison really.
  24. Whittaker has played a handfull of good games a season, he is a liability defensively tell me what justified this donkey getting 20k a week 5yr deal ffs. Ally should tell him to get his Agent to get him another club end off he shouldnt play for Rangers again.
