  1. Once again by far the most interesting league. Teams from mid table can still go down and up until last week top 10 could still go up. Blackburn probably secured safety last night beating Millwall, pity as they are shockingly ran. Wolves could be on their way down.
  2. But in the SPL he was arguably our best defender. Wages aside Id take him back.
  3. Start this thread again. All German final.
  4. Ok...cracking player for West Ham.
  5. Bayern v Barca Always said Zee Germans were the better side but if Barca show up there is only 1 winner. 5/1 on half time full time biggest steal odds ever! 2/1 for the win!!! Dortmund v Real Zee Germans will win this
  6. Barcelona 5/1 half time full time against Munich. Yes sir well worth a flutter. Come on the Messi.
  7. Dont forget to order your tatties from taypack.com Queen of the south have been impressive, id take half their team at the moment. Much better potential than the SPL guff we get linked to. Would like to see Boca and Goian back. Our defence has been woeful all season.
  8. Defoe is a wee mink who should have got done back then also. You cant bite someone in the street....the laws between football and walking down the street should be no different, a kick here and there is hard to prove intent but a bite isnt. 100k a week...little mink. Liverpool are a disgrace for not sacking or fining him.
  9. Got to agree with Gav. I like Di Canio's passion and it was a perfect fit for him. The question is whether he can keep it up for a season. Absolute cracking player aswell. I think they will win at Villa.
  10. He's not bad that Van Persie bloke. What a 2nd goal... Villa in the shite, the last game of the season they play Wigan which could be a belter
  11. Beat Villa tonight and Sir Alex wins Utds 20th title. Considering it was Liverpool 18-7 Man Utd when he joined it is a fantastic achievement. It will now read Liverpool 18-20 Man Utd. I used to deteste Utd in the 90s yet in the last 5 years Ive likened to them much more than money boys City and Chelsea. Great stuff to take the title off City whom have been out of sorts all year. Hope they stuff Villa tonight and win the league. Villa, I wouldnt mind seeing go down. Been a boring team for years now. Them and Stoke are both awful to watch.
  12. Good to see Durie looking well. Warnock is the biggest pratt in the football world and id have never entertained the though of him being Rangers Manager. Putting his wankerness aside, coud he actually be a decent shout?! He actually has a good record in the Championship and does demand winning. Blonde 1 behind to the right of Warnock is a bit tasty!
  13. I wouldnt fancy us if Queen of the south were in the league. They are consistent and beat others no problem.
  14. Disgrace. He doesnt deserve to be a footballer. I hope the authorites hit him hard for that. 10 game ban, 200k fine and 1 month community service - at least!!
  15. I see a lot of people commenting about Green's wealth out of the club but if he got the club back in a stable position then I dont care if he took a helicopter to work and lived in a palace. Look over at the other end of Glasgow. Fergus McCann came in and made 10 fold of what he put into Celtic and despite having cretins running their club he put them in good sted and headed back to Canada a pretty rich man!
  16. A fine post!!

    Who's Next?

I can see Walter maybe taking the reins temporarily or at least having an influence in the decision.
  18. Just a pure mess. 2 months ago we were back on the up. Talk about a rug being pulled from the feet. I can only see it being Walter stepping in for a while.
  19. Well I liked CG a lot, the way he fought for the club vocally against everyone was the best thing we've had for as long as I can remember. Who knows what the truth is RE Whyte saga but all I can say is why didnt this come out 9 months ago! But if he shafted Whyte then so be it, that man needed shafted! CG couldnt have imagined the bile that comes out of the Scottish media, Im sure we'll hear about it in his book. For some reason I think we'll start to hear more from Traynor now.
  20. What Berliner said. Look the part when he first came but looked out his depth at the start of this season, although he may not have been fit. Would be ok if he came back so long as the 16k a week was reduced.
  21. Coming to think of it signing experienced players like Miller is better than signing current SPL players. He is every bit as good and wont be on a long term deal so when we do get back to the top flight he is the sort of player who will be trimmed from the squad to be replaced by the next level of standard. Currently signing the likes of Daly from Dundee Utd leaves us with these types of players in the squad which might not be good enough to be near the top of the league
  22. The article for me is purely to add fuel to the fire about McCoist v Green. People will jump on a bandwagon and say its an excuse to try push Ally out the door. IF and big if, it were true then its not right. Managers should always make the decision about what players come in if it fits in with the budget. As for Miller, we could have got him back January 2012 and that would have been a good signing at the time after losing Jelavic. But in the last 12 months since going to Canada he has lost a yard or 2 of pace and is now looking like he is struggling to get about the park, he looked well short in his last few Scotland matches. He could probably still do a job as he'd still be more mobile than McCulloch. Plus considering we signed Kyle I wouldnt rule this signing out.
  23. It would be great to be an away fan up there next season. But if they draw Rangers in the cup you can expect the stand to be fully opened. I hope we do another boycott next season also.
  24. They are desperate and needed that vote to go through. There was no way they could just accept the vote, they need a deal to keep some clubs and the league afloat. I dont know why but I can just see them pulling something out of the hat. We need to put all our internal issues aside and not let them live of a TV deal which is funded by Rangers.
  25. Swansea have been a breathe of fresh air in the premier league, unlike a Stoke or Wolves they dont play ugly football or unlike Hull and Blackpool they dont drop like a stone. Im not so sure Cardiff will be the same. Both these teams have crowds of around 23000 per week and sell out plus Swansea are to increase the size of their ground from next season to 34000, just shows if it was Rangers and Celtic the potential would be massive and we'd need a 70000 seater stadium.
