Yeah I was watching that game when Viduka scored, nothing wrong with it at all. But thats Boro down for sure, they need a big goal difference swing on the last day which theywont get as Hull play Man U (albeit it Man U reserves) and Boro go to West Ham. If Sunderland lose at Portsmouth then they are in trouble as they have Chelsea on the last day. Makes for a good last day but you'd fancy Hull to stay up at the moment.

Its a scary thought for Man U thinking SAF could have been sacked. I wonder where they would be now if they did. There is no way they would have built such an established club as they have. Newcastle and Blackburn would probably have won titles and Arsenal would probably have another 3. Delighted for SAF, Giggs and Scholes. I think Scholes may be finished tho, he has struggled at times this season.

Quite a few teams and bosses deserve credit. David Moyes has done yet another outstanding job at Everton and if he wins the FA cup and holds onto 5th place then he gets it for me. But if they dont then Roy Hodgson has been superb. From keeping Fulham up on the last day last season to being on the brink of Europe with a small squad has been brilliant. Fair play to Stoke they have done well at home and the manager deserves immense credit. Martin ONeill deserves credit for 75% of the season. At one time they looked like they would finish in the top 3. Zola also has done well at West Ham but they will be disappoint to falter at the end. Redknapp turned Spurs around very well also. Gary Megson has done a solid job at Bolton despite being booed by his own fans.

I see what your saying there UFC, but WS just cant set a team out to go win a match....he constantly relies on safety first and hope we nick a goal. Ok having a safety approach is ok in some games but going to the title its not! Rangers are bigger and better than their opponents in the SPL and should be having a go from the off. I honestly cant believe he sent out a 4-4-2 today with a relaxed approach! I think we could improve under a new manager but can we afford such person!!! Richard Gough would be a good cheap option right now! Bring on the Laudrup brothers!
-
Glad someone else agrees about Boyd. He is a waste of a jersey. His performances once again against the top 6 have been awful. I watched him come out the tunnel and just looked at his poser attitude thinking he was more important and glamourous than the task in hand. Yet he had the cheek to doubt his substitution. People can fault Miller but at least he walks onto the park with the intention of winning for the team and can contribute. I thought Miller did well today! He needs a few things touched up on his game - composure would be one - then he would be an improved player. As for Novo!!! Crikey is he could relax on the ball then he would score a shit load.
-
And i didnt come on but did more than the 3 of them!
-
How it can change! Newcastle losing at home to fulham Boro beating Villa at home Hull drawing with Bolton Yes...Newcastle back in the shit
-
....Until after the Hibs v Celtic game tomorrow? If Hibs get a result in our favour then all of a sudden our position somehow looks good!!! And we will be saying we did our job. But it was all wrong today! The approach was a disgrace. I cant believe we never came out to try and win that game in the same manner as we did at Hibs in the 2nd half. I struggle to see where we would have got a goal if that own goal never went it!!!
-
Have to say im happy for Sir Awex and Ryan Giggs! 11 titles is unbelievable! Well done Wenger for neing the first to hand shake Ferguson. Cant stand Liverpool so delighted they didnt win it! Arsenal will be back stronger next season for a top 2 finished. Liverpool and Chelsea on the slide!
-
Changed my vote here now even though Hibs win tomorrow. WS put a team out with absolute nothing about them to go and beat a poor aberdeen team. When i saw the aberdeen line up i hadnt even heard of about 4 players. Yet the first 45 were the usual "lets not lose" approach and hoping we will nick something on the break - this is at home to Aberdeen who havent won on our patch in 18 years!!!!!!! He is 'Hoping" for the league rather than going out to win it. IMO hibs can be excused as it was a tricky place to go and we had already won the last 7 games but the performance was shite. Yet today was a game where HAD to see the real Rangers and we got a pish performance and only won it due to an own goal! Sorry but Walter has to be replaced and I dont want McCoist to be the man to replace him.
-
I'll change my opinion on Mendes after that showing also! Ferguson touched the ball 3 times but was better than Mendes.
-
Well cant say much better in the 2nd half even though we won. I honestly cant believe the lack of urgency about the team. Alexander - Had a good game Whittaker - Is best at LB for me. Anywhere else is a waste of space Papac - Played well first half, average 2nd but down to the 10 man thing Bougherra - obviously didnt play 2nd half and defence looked weak without him Weir - Pretty solid throughout but if we are relying on a 39 yr old then we are in trouble Davis - No idea what WS see's in him as a RM. Edu - First time ive seen him live bar the OF game and thought he was invisible Mendes - Awful Lafferty - Comeback game and disgraced himself. Got on the ball often but not too effective Miller - MOTM for me. Did well for both goals and was lively throughout. Boyd - My say for not starting him was justified. Absolute rank!!!! Subs: Novo - Trier but is off form. Guaranteed to miss anything in the 6 yard box until 5th try Ferguson - Didnt see him touch the ball. Fleck - Not much chance to make a impact
-
100 quid down the drain then! SAlly, i cant blame you on this one
-
Its half time, but everything about the game is awful! The referee is a embarrassment to himself and its a good job its his last ever top flight match. Lafferty was a disgrace in the sending off. No way did Bougherra mean to go for the keepers face - joke of a red card. But the performance is a disgrace. There is no urgency! Walter Smith should be ashamed for not getting the players up for this. Its the usual 'safety first' approach! It might take a aberdeen goal to wake him up again. What did he not learn from easter road.! We arent even looking to go out and win the game never mind scoring goals. Alexander - dealt with a few good things plus 1 great save Whittaker - crap! much better as a LB Papac - Did well Bougherra - did well but never a sending off Weir - Steady Davis - Getting on the ball but not effective Mendes - Invisible Edu - Invisible Lafferty - Disgrace for the sending off. And a poor match on the left Miller - Lively but average Boyd - Terrible touches and poor match. MUST DO BETTER 2ND HALF
-
Happy with the selections but would rather Lafferty upfront than on the left. Hopefully this is a 4-3-3
-
3 changes: Papac returns, Lafferty and Miller start. Alexander Whittaker Bougherra Weir Papac Edu Mendes Davis Lafferty Miller Boyd Ferguson on the bench!! Subs: McGregor, Ferguson, Novo, McCulloch, Dailly, Fleck, Wilson.

Well the Fat Lady is gargling at the moment... I think they will get at least a point from the Arsenal game today and become champions meaning they will have levelled Liverpools 18 titles - amazing streak from Sir Awex!! People say if he wins this plus the CL then he may step down at the top but IMO there is no chance in that...he will want to get that 19th title and go above Liverpool next season. But its not a forgone conclusion for the ultra optimistic fan from Liverpool. Arsenal on their day are well capable of winning today and then if it goes to the last game away to Hull next week who would need a win to stay up then who knows!!!

Not yet, waiting for ladbrokes lines to open. But i want to catch that 4/6.

Gribz replied to Frankie's topic in Rangers Chat
I think the whole stadium will be up for this today! -
Miller should start for me!
-
I have a feeling Ferguson will play
-

-
Send all the regulars who havent done it a PM
-
Only scrambled eggs go in the microwave Imagine the slagging he is going to get in the dressing room??!!! It would be classic if it was Goram, Gazza and Durrant generation! Im sure Durrant and mCcoist will still be playing some jokes here
-
No mate, dont get any coverage here. But thats awesome they are in the final. MK Dons v Leeds was suposed to be the banker play off final but its Scunthorpe v Millwall. I cant stand Millwall (for West Ham reasons) so hopefully Scunny go up. Good on them!
