  1. According to media reports, we've been chasing every previous player who is still playing....so why not bring back an ex-director/chairman etc...
  2. Know how you feel.....always try & stay optimistic, but when there is very little in the way of positive info kicking about, it does make it VERY difficult.
  3. Found that kinda strange as well..... Why would HMRC show an ex-director documents/communications between 2 companies that he has no connection with ie Wavetower & Ticketus??? Sounds a wee bit dubious to me.
  4. It's reporting Jamie Ness going to Ross County on loan till end of season and possibly Jordan McMillan to Dunfermline on loan....
  5. If she can score goals - play her!!!
  6. does anyone EVER put in an initial bid which equals a clubs valuation???? It's called negotiating!!! I'm pretty sure all clubs have 2 prices for a player - an ideal price, and one that would be acceptable.
  7. Sounds positive!!!! Do you think he showed enough to merit a start in the next game???? Either on the left, or behind the striker(s)???
  8. Missed the 2nd half of the Hibs game....how did Celik do when he came on???
  9. Not necessarily. I believe McCoist has a very small budget to work with, and I think his preference is to use it for strikers. Should he be unable to bring in a striker, that then paves the way for the likes of Jaager - being a free agents means the transfer deadline isn't a concern.
  10. seems to me that players are getting very Diva-ish!!! The media hypes them up to almost god-like status, which the players eventually start to believe themselves. They earn an absolute shed load of cash for doing VERY little compared to your average Joe punter. IMHO, Sandaza is a perfect example. Rangers are a massive step up from St Johnstone (even with all our current issues), yet he feels he deserves better, and will be a man in demand come the end of the season....
  11. Alternatively.....he may be wanting to use whatever funds he does have available on a striker. Possibly if no-one else brought in (for whatever reason), Jaager will be made an offer.
  12. depends on the terms he's looking for!!!
  13. the big question is....has he been excused from training, or simply a no-show????
  14. According to the Record, he wasn't asked back.... Here However, his club believe a £1m deal is nearly complete - just waiting on a medical....
  15. .....and apparently, he didn't get invited back for day 2 of the trial....
  16. Noticed that against the mighty Arbroath - set piece just outside the box, and we had 10 players positioned along the 18-yard box....
  17. Normally you need to be playing in order for someone to show interest.....
  18. Says he had a "good feeling about the club"....then at a whiff of better money, buggers off after one days training!!!! All interest should no be dropped - he has no real interest in playing for Rangers!!!
  19. Think he3's got 14 or 15 in the SPL. I personally don't think his attitude is good enough. Rangers are a bigger club that St J. and he's as good as holding us to ransom. He has been doing well this season, but I don't think his past record is too much to shout about!!!
  20. The way this is going....the guys head wouldn't fit through the front door @ Ibrox!!!! He appears convinced that he's a complete hot shot and there will be numerous clubs (of decent standing) chasing his signature - can't see that ever happening. As mentioned by someone else....Miller left Rangers for £400k. He was a proven striker @ many levels & a regular international. I am also guessing the actual fee is based on remaining wages - I'd think Miller was on considerable more that St J. are paying Sandaza. I'd also expect Rangers to be offering higher wages than he's currently getting. He's not bothered about paying for the club - he just wants more money!!! If he's that confident about his skills, accepts the move on lower wages with a wage increase clause based on number of goals scored!!!!
  21. That is a big flaw with the theory.....but my original point was about McCoist taking it from paper & applying to the pitch....
  22. I think that is a fair point. If you look at how other teams in the league are performing with "lesser quality" players, they are giving the OF a decent test. The question has to be asked then, is it the players, the coaches or a combination of both. I would suggest in those instances that there is something that the coaches are doing that we are not!!! Maybe a "coaching revolution" is what is required, rather than new playing staff. McCoist is supposed to be a young, fresh coach, yet nothing appears to have changed since WS. So far, Ally doesn't appear to be getting anywhere near the best out of his players....
  23. If I recall, think it was last season....the fans were up in arms, wanting Davis to play a more preferred central role. I think one of the biggest problems for Davis of late is that he has been sitting too deep performing defensive duties - he should be further up the field trying to orchestrate an attack. That would be the beauty of the 3-man midfield.....one person could drop deeper to assist defence when required, but you also have the options of pushing someone forward to play just behind Jelavic as well, while still maintaining a midfield 2 for stability.
  24. That's the big problem....if it works, it's hailed as a master stroke....anything else & your an eejit. Ironically, it'll be the same folk that would criticise the loss due to too many changes that would shout & scream that the team is stale & needs freshening up....ye cannae win!!!
