  1. I have thought about it and paid the 2 season deal for our pair of tickets. £6,438 is not too bad if you say it fast and don't look at the bank statement ?
  2. A very good idea unless you support either ICT or County and go with tartan shirts. I would imagine every fan of both clubs would vote against it, regardless. Should scumtic & Rangers FC merge to be a force in europe? Only problem would be if it was blue / playing at the cesspit or green & grey hoops at Ibrox. Another vote I suppose...
  3. Well well, Rangers sent an email to Bar72 punters (and I assume all corporate bods) today. Effectively an assurance that they will only pay for games they are allowed to attend. As much as this is pleasantly surprising, is it hard to believe they will do this for 'corporate' and not for all ST holders? At the end of the day, people are simply paying up front to support the club for a full season. I suppose it is possible the feedback and uptake has indeed failed to match the massive demand they have previously reported and they want more folk to cough up now. But it is a bit early for that. Dear VIP Hospitality Client, I hope you and your family are well and keeping safe. Following on from the Club’s recent communication related to additional discounts for next season (7.5% if renewed by 29th May), I would like to advise on further steps taken by the board to provide additional comfort to our valued hospitality clients. Whilst their remains a degree of uncertainty around the resumption of football in Scotland and, in parallel, on-going Government and SPFL discussions around the possibility of matches behind closed doors, we would like to provide further reassurances. In the instance of any home match taking place behind closed doors for season 20/21, we will offer all Seasonal clients a credit on their account to recompense for any ‘lost’ matches. This credit will be calculated on a pro-rata match by match basis. As your package includes all home games that the first team participate in, we pro-rata based on 30 games. The pro-rata will be calculated against the total amount received for your season place (s). For example, if x 3 matches are played behind closed doors next season, the club will credit this equivalent value back to your account (3 x the equivalent match pro rata value). As recently communicated we would like to remind you that we have increased our discount, should you wish to pay in full by the 29th May, then a 7.5% discount will be applied. It is hoped that we may welcome you back for Season 20/21. Stay safe Regards
  4. The club have made an arse of it. STs will fall drastically and so will corporate. They have now contributed further by shafting many Bar72 punters to push them out and allow other corporate clients to 'downgrade' their hospitality. The loss will start at the top end and filter down, well heeled chaps or not Very soon, and more so in 12 months time, the club will see the error of their methods. And I say that as someone who has renewed 2 Bar72 seats - single season only though.
  5. Katic for me. His desire, effort and focus on what he had to do was excellent. Should have scored 1st half though. But his diving header to touch, covering for Barasic in the left back position, to break up an attack late on epitomised his display. Barasic & Aribo certainly had a lot of the ball due to how the game was played out and in good areas. But the lack of chances created and poor choices in the final 3rd told the story. A cynic would say the goal assist was a flukey mis-hit ?
  6. Chagrin? I posted that RTV was great value for £49. You replied "Make that $299 for overseas customers ..." Obviously not the case. It would be shit if you paid for a Daimler and they just gave you a Dacia when you went to pick it up. Good job, as was the case with both you and I, we got what we paid for.
  7. Depends what you asked for and what they wanted to sell you I suppose. I assume you watch all games live anyway so you have the correct sub. I just clicked the standard online for my RTV subscription - all options were on the page. I notice the live games are up £2 / 2.50 euro this season. All good, more money to the club. My point was, you do not pay $299 for the same as I pay £49 no matter how you spin it.
  8. Post appeared twice for some reason, apologies.
  9. No it isn't, please do not try and suggest that, because you are overseas, RTV charge you $299 whilst I only pay £49. There are different subscription fees for the differing levels of access available, RTV standard, RTV plus, RTV unlimited and also RTV pay per view for single live games. You obviously chose the full RTV unlimited, all content inclusive. I am overseas less than half the season so I pay for RTV standard and live games on ppv.
  10. Just a pity the website is terrible. Hard to navigate through everything and find what you are looking for ?
  11. True, but I reckon £49 a year is great value for the considerable, enjoyable and quality content aired by the RTV team.
  12. Early days, plastic pitch and against a very settled team who have been very effective at home for the last 18 months as results against every team proves. 2 important issues today - we got the 3 points and nobody landed on FS's head. So a decent day and I will save the huge negativity for later.
  13. He probably doesn't want to play anyway. He will get his salary alright though, so all good.
  14. Fwiw, I thought it was a magnificent result. Long may they continue...
  15. Which chap in the picture is more advanced in years, or twins maybe?
  16. Dave and FS are on the lash just now in sunnier climes, making the most of the International break. Minding their own business and innocently doing their thing when word got out that a former midfield superstar was in the company. I imagine Mr Smith was enjoying it, right up until Edgar Davids said hello ?
  17. It is no Rangers stand off. A press pass was withdrawn because a bbc reporter lied through his teeth to have a pop at our club. Again. I hope our club change nothing. In fact, this "this is the result if a reporter being banned" crap does us as much harm from within as our detractors do from the outside. No one is banned, so a wasted, fictional rant that simply feeds the parasites. And in this internet age I am sure you really do not have to rely on BBC online and Sportsound.
  18. DK has had C1872 covered from the beginning of RF. So no change there. When the RST spontaneously combusted again, the self inflicted terminal wounds lead to a merger happening and DK could not believe his luck - total control of the fans group(s). He was able to take a step back, drop his henchmen and ambassador from the organisation, only leave a cheap and minimal presence yet still get what he wants. Free money, no work to be done for it and no stress. Yet he keeps the C1872 hierarchy interested, trying to nibble the carrot that is the RIFC board spot - that some of them crave so desperately. Even though it is the last thing they should want. So much so that they want to tighten their cabal again. Job done DK. But to be fair, DK has played a few blinders in his time.
  19. If we have home league games after our 3 away EL games and also home after Vienna at Ibrox, I would say that is very good. The scum must have 4 away games after EL going by that as well.
  20. I saw the full game on RTV with no problems. Strange when the missing feed early doors seems to have been very widespread.
  21. We will only sell approx 46k STs so around 2.5/3k will be available match to match depending on away section and required segregation.
  22. Correct. RIFC need not comment. They should just take our £1m. Absolute agreement moving forward. It did not stop at James Blair and it is not a fine line. The support are well represented at board level. I am happy to continue contributing to C1872. Are you thinking of an alternative?
  23. How can the club state the independence of C1872? Up until now, it has never been independent. Cleaning the slate now will not change what has happened previously. RIFC need not comment. They should just our £1m,.
  24. Who said McCoist voted against it? I said he blocked it. That about covers it.
  25. It was the motion at the agm to basically allow the directors to allocate shares as they wished and not only by rights during the current financial year. 75% of the vote was required and it failed previously. Once this placement is done, the likes of McCoist & his cronies will not have sufficient shares to block it again, absolutely nowhere near it.
