I love reading Weiss' Twitter feed, himself and Sebo on their still showing their support. Agreed re: physicality. I read a story last week that Messi wouldnt have made it in England like Ronaldo did because he isnt physical enough. If there was a choice between being physical and having skill, or just being phenominally skillful, i'd choose the latter. He seems to be none too shabby vs English teams in the CL! The standards of Scottish football hasnt changed, in fact it has taken giant leaps back. IMO, La Liga is still the best league in the world and should attempt to be mirrored. Naismith, more than anyone else, I believe would split the Rangers support in a big way. The way he left has left a feeling of betrayal in many fans. For that reason, having him back is not an option, not that we'd get him any time soon anyway.

It was only when someone posted about him in the wee daft facts section a few weeks back I realised the 20th anniversary of his death was coming up. One of the first players I remember hearing about as a kid. I dont remember the year or anything, but I distinctly remember following my brothers lead in celebrating a goal that he scored...not really knowing what I was celebrating but enjoying it nonetheless. RIP Davie.
