3 of these loanee's have not even kicked a ball for the first team. Absoute disgrace but hardly a surprise.

Stuart McCall officially confirmed as new Rangers manager
Laudbertz replied to chilledbear's topic in Rangers Chat
Wish they played by the philosophy 'if it aint broke, dont fix it' ...cause it was extremely broke, and needed fixed. -
Stuart McCall says Kris Boyd still has a role to play for Rangers

Keep an edge on his fitness... when the words 'diet' and 'exercise' just wont do. Think ill use that one. -
Kenny Miller: Rangers forwards not getting chances
Laudbertz replied to pete's topic in Rangers Chat
Oh good, blame the other players... that wont disrupt the two-win-good-feeling at all. Dumbass. -
They were smilining an all that in training before McCall arrived...and it bugged the hell outta me cause it just looked like they didnt give a crap about what was happening. Now, I would hope that the feel good factor is in a different way and that they are smiling with an air of confidence and performances grow. Also, pic number 12, looks like Jig is ripping one.

Jim Delahunt quits Clyde 1 after drive ban
Laudbertz replied to Bearman's topic in General Football Chat
Probably best, if it was a known Rangers supporter he'd be hounded out within the week for not paying his library fee's in 1987. -
Gael Bigirimana: I knew I was sick BEFORE I left Newcastle for Ibrox
Laudbertz replied to ian1964's topic in Rangers Chat
Along with two other players, we knew they were injured before arriving with us, well we didnt know it at the time but having not played its not hard to guess! -

Jim'll Drink It Jim'iller Time Jim Beaming What a tool, hate reading stories of drunk drivers. May not have been blotto but over the limit and could have turned out so much worse. -
That few lines are a bit OTT for me, but thanks for the transcript, the only line I could make out was he wears a wankers hat and I thought...yup, thats Collymore alright.

I love reading Weiss' Twitter feed, himself and Sebo on their still showing their support. I dont think we have a hope in hell of getting him, he'll be on a hefty wage in Qatar I would think, certainly more than we could offer. Although with some of our high earners leaving this summer, their could be wiggle room to take in a quality player that we will need no matter which league we're in. Its been sort of quiet from our new board that it may have passed me by, have they mentioned anything of player/wage budgets at present or in future?

Agreed re: physicality. I read a story last week that Messi wouldnt have made it in England like Ronaldo did because he isnt physical enough. If there was a choice between being physical and having skill, or just being phenominally skillful, i'd choose the latter. He seems to be none too shabby vs English teams in the CL! The standards of Scottish football hasnt changed, in fact it has taken giant leaps back. IMO, La Liga is still the best league in the world and should attempt to be mirrored. EDIT : Also, the 'we cant carry him' comment is insanely stupid. Wouldnt be surprised if the boy refused to play if/when he is called up.

Steven Naismith refuses to rule out Rangers return in the future
Laudbertz replied to ian1964's topic in Rangers Chat
It wasnt that he left, it was what was said at the news conference that turned a section of fans sour on him. -

I think the Naismith situation is in a whole other league in terms of subject to Miller and Mojo. -

Naismith, more than anyone else, I believe would split the Rangers support in a big way. The way he left has left a feeling of betrayal in many fans. For that reason, having him back is not an option, not that we'd get him any time soon anyway. -
Really? I did not know that. The sign of a man who knew he was on the losing side of an argument obviously.

As much as I love Super Ally the player, he doesnt fit into the last part of my post.

Possible Dates for the 3rd Semi-Annual Gersnet Dinner
Laudbertz replied to BrahimHemdani's topic in Rangers Chat
Im gonna go ahead and guess that Malaga is a restaurant of sorts and not the holiday destination. Hell of a dinner where you wake up the next day in a different country. -
Haha, think that would be defined as more of a nightmare than a dream! The only players I want to see back at Ibrox, is the ones who have advanced into coaching roles and are able to help develop our current crop.
-
No, no, no no no, noooooooo. There are certain players who ive wanted to bring back over the years, Lafferty is not one of them. It turns out bringing back Miller and Boyd were mistakes, we cant make any more where a wage is being spent on someone who doesnt deserve it.

A whole school in a day? Impressive, do you use a firehose for a paintbrush?! I might actually be down Glasgow way in May, would be good to put names to faces. Ill let you know if im down on the date when its decided which one you're going with. -
It was only when someone posted about him in the wee daft facts section a few weeks back I realised the 20th anniversary of his death was coming up. One of the first players I remember hearing about as a kid. I dont remember the year or anything, but I distinctly remember following my brothers lead in celebrating a goal that he scored...not really knowing what I was celebrating but enjoying it nonetheless. RIP Davie.
