Souttar for me. Cortes is a very promising player. His use of space is very good, he is direct and skillful. He has a great manager to bring out the very best in him.

Raskin has a lot to do to convince me he will do a good job in our midfield. Goldson, Tav and Wright were pretty poor. Lundstram, Ridvan and Cantwell improved us when they came on but overall a disappointing game to watch. Souttar MoM for me. Collum is still a rat but he shied away from giving Silva a second yellow which would have been deserved.

We were in NEH after the game and there was a buzz amongst the smallish crowd that was there but the second the big man's interview came on SKY you could have heard a pin drop. That's respect.

I would like to see 2 more of Beale's signings go, Dowell and Dessers (ducks behind the couch). I don't think we should be running a cottage hospital for serially injured players any longer. I like Dowelll and think he could do a job for us but I am done with it. There are aspects to Dessers play that I like but he doesn't impact the game enough and misses too many really good chances.

What a joy to have so many contenders. It is not so long ago we were saying no-one deserved MoM.

Lundstram was a total powerhouse but I went for match winner Cantwell. Sublime to watch at times, as is Silva. Matondo was really good early on but fell away. I would have preferred to see Cortes on for McCausland and leave Matondo in place but it was probably to do with Matondo's lack of fitness over 90 minutes.

Todd for me. McAusland had a really good game too and Silva was impressive.

Slow start but enjoyed that. Some really good performances today and a nice cameo from Cortes who looks skillful and good defensively.

I hope it is not too costly for us but I think there is general disappointment and some concern we didn't bridge that gap. We clearly don't have the cash, plain and simple, and we haven't been able to shift assets out.

We knew the minute we saw the name of the show exactly what it would be. Utterly sickening.

I went for Souttar. Vey few really stood out yesterday but there were no real failures either.

We dominated the game but were wasteful on the ball and with scoring opportunities. Having said that, the turnaround in these players is remarkable and we should have had a few more goals. Yet again the decision making of the match ref and Var was questionable. We had a perfectly good goal chopped off and a certain penalty denied for a non-foul. Thankfully this incompetence did not affect the win. I was really worried about this one pre match. We still need another striker and a right winger.

Super Jack for me with Lundstram next then Ridvan. I think the keeper kept us in the game early doors and made crucial saves at 2-0 and the match ended as a stroll in the park for us.

PC said he is not first team ready.

There was no-one near the scorer and at least 4 of our players defending fresh air.

Reflecting on the game this morning, I am becoming concerned at the problems cross balls are causing our defence. Looks to me that we are using zonal marking which we tried and failed with during Gio's time. We simply didn't have the players to execute it. It is not quite so noticeable when Jack is between the sticks.

That's quite shocking. This programme is beyond the pale.

Well done today. Good professionalism shown and as yet no further injuries. The conditions were horrible. Onwards and upwards.

I agree that was a factor.

I felt the midfield needed to push up nearer to the forwards in the first half last night. They seemed content to sit back which left the forwards short.
