  1. Summary, Rangers have to go somewhere, we need them back in the SPL next year, if you don't vote for it we will make a new league to put them in. Translated as, we've underestimated the amount of hatred in this country, we've been too heavy handed and we cannae dae without their money. Suits me.
  2. I am very happy with what he has said. It is just a shame it took a fans protest to improve communication. I did not know what to do yesterday but I am more reassured today that we should support the present regime and support the funding of the club.
  3. Don't see any mention of that. Scaremongering. I have had a belly full of all of this.
  4. I cannot agree with you. If it is in our interests I am all for it, so long as it is seen as in everyone's interests and not designed to show favouritism.
  5. This would obviously need to be clarified but I expect it means to drop the legal challenge and the transfer embargo will disappear. It would be preposterous under the circumstances and events have overtaken it.
  6. why is Ally not saying anything?
  7. Supposedly to Ontario teachers pension portfolio. OMG please don't make this true. He is also saying this is unconfirmed.
  8. Maybe someone qualified in company law can explain in layman's terms what is going on. I am becoming more and more irrational and disrtustful with every passing day.
  9. I am not. This proves nothing other than Green said it. Why have the assets gone to a separate company from the football club? Explanation please, Mr Green. I think we are entitled to that.
  10. Renting the assets to Rangers would never, ever be acceptable. No theft of assets.
  11. The fans are entitled to know what is going on.
  12. I genuinely don't know what to think about all of this but one thing I do know is that I would trust these guys motives. Some people might say, as they do of all of those coming late to the table, where were you when......? I don't think any of us can believe what has happened since Feb and if they'd had a crystal ball I believe they would've acted sooner. I also believe they were happy for someone else to do the dirty work and no doubt, like the rest of us, hoped that things would turn out better than they have and I don't have a problem with that either. I have remained open minded about D&P and CG but I have major doubts about the way things are going. I don't think CG has the funding and I have real fears that we end up in admin again. This is like a re-run of a horror movie. If Green does not have the funding why was he given exclusivity, where was the due diligence? Why is Ally saying so little? We need answers. IF green has the funding he needs to prove it.
  13. Admin please delete this thread I see it is duplicated in another thread.
  14. Headline: Icons snub Ibrox season tickets Don’t trust this man Exclusive By IAIN KING Published: 19 minutes ago IBROX icons last night stuck the boot into Charles Green’s Rangers newco and told fans: DON’T buy your season tickets from this man. A host of legendary heroes and ex-Gers vice-chairman Donald Findlay QC threw their weight behind former star John Brown’s plan to lead a fans’ buy-out. SunSport can reveal sickened Bomber QUIT as Rangers’ transfer scout to put all his energy into ousting the From Back Page Green regime. Fans’ heroes Brian Laudrup, Lorenzo Amoruso, Jorg Albertz and SunSport columnist Andy Goram all backed the move. In an exclusive interview with SunSport Brown said: “We want to say to the fans don’t buy your season tickets as we fear money is going to go in and then disappear. “That’s what happened under Craig Whyte and look where we are today. “The fear of that money disappearing is a very real one for us. “So this morning I say show us the title deeds, who has keys to Ibrox? “We want to get you out of OUR club, we’ll help the fans fund the takeover. “That will ensure that no greedy man can ever do this to Rangers again. “I urge the fans to get behind us, starve them of your money.” Brown emptied his desk at Murray Park on Monday afternoon. Now he has enlisted the advice of Cowdenbeath chairman Findlay, one of Scotland’s leading legal brains. Bomber insisted: “I am making this decision because I believe the regime in charge are NOT the true owners of the football club. “They have documents under Sevco but we want to know whose name is on the title deeds for Ibrox, Murray Park and Albion car park. “That’s the key to the future of our club.” There are fears that for all the protests to the contrary the truth is that shamed former owner Whyte remains a spectre over the club. Brown said: “Today we ask Charles Green: How much do you want for the club so we can put it into the hands of the Rangers family?” Last week SunSport revealed Brown was fronting a consortium offering £8.7million for control of Gers and the club’s assets. That saw him carpeted by Green on Friday and Brown revealed: “I was called into a one on one meeting with Charles Green on Friday. “I asked him to name his price to walk away and he wouldn’t give me one. “I then asked him what have you spent to now. He said: ‘Guess.’ “He then said he’d write it on a piece of paper and the figure was £8.7million. “Funnily enough, that matched the bid made by my original consortium in recorded delivery letters that day. “I have very influential Rangers men in the background now. “I realise there was publicity surrounding Steve McKenna’s Celtic background in the original consortium but he is someone I trust and that move was designed to smoke people out. “There’s no hidden agenda to this, I have investors from Hong Kong, Australia, America and Britain.” Brown will today seek talks with fans’ groups. But he insisted: “Since no one from the Rangers regime has had the balls to do, as a former Hamilton and Dundee player I want to apologise on behalf of my club to the whole of Scottish football.”
  15. How I wish that this were true but it appears to have come from a fake facebook page which has a dislike button but on facebook it is an unlike button.
  16. At last some good news. A player I like who has played everywhere he has been asked to and put in decent performances.
  17. Interesting take on this. Rangers as a club and more specifically their directors are being blamed under corporate responsibility for allowing Craig White to get away with what he did. Presumably other clubs and their directors will be treated with the same scrutiny and processes if they are found to be negligent.
  18. Well, they wanted it, now they have to get on with it.
  19. It is time for the counter argument to be made here, the defence of our club to be made. There is no justification for anyone in the SFL, fan or chairman preventing Rangers from being admitted. We have already been relegated. The problem is Green has no credibility and the Chairman has no clout.
  20. According to Jim Spence we would need to apply to the SFL and would need 23 votes to get in! Surely they would have absolutely no justification in keeping us out?
  21. Am I being dumb here? Are they not saying no to Rangers in the SPL, therefore we have to apply to the SFL?
  22. The fans of other clubs have forced this by threatening not to buy season tickets. What do we think they will do if the setup is changed to allow us into SFL1 or SPL2? The media, SFA and SPL have made a huge mistake by allowing this whole punishment to juggernaut out of control instead of dispassionately dealing with the facts. Regan is now on holiday and their carefully concocted plan is in bits. I do not want them to change the rules because it will be perceived as doing it for us and subject us to even more future lies and abuse. We have to apply for Division 3. This could turn even nastier.
  23. I cancelled my SKY and ESPN weeks ago, citing the victimisation of the club by The SFA.
  24. Nothing makes me madder than being called a Hun. The name describes everything I am not and I find it extrememly offensive. The propaganda that has been been spread for over 40 years has portrayed Rangers fans as neo fascist extremists intolerant of all others. I am a football fan, a fan of Rangers, a good person, tolerant, liberal minded and typical of most Rangers supporters I know. I am staggered by the amount of hatred being shown towards our club the length and breadth of Scotland. It only makes me all the more determined to support the club.
