  1. As I said alarm bells should have started ringing in the Rangers boardroom. Hence maybe King's obsession with a DOF
  2. Yes I remember you saying that....... Can I give you a bit of advice ? Don't drink with yahoos....
  3. Richly deserved.well done Steven.
  4. Perhaps it should have been looked into why Brentford let Warburton leave. At the end of the 2014-15 season the board had a major decision to take. McCall wasn't the answer. We'd just got humped 6-1 by Motherwell in the play-offs so they had to look elsewhere. They needed to get someone in quick & they got Warburton& Weir and latterly their chief scout McParland(stop laughing at the back!!) To be fair they did their job & got us promoted but those signings last summer should have set alarm bells ringing in the rangers boardroom. Hence I believe King's obsession with a DOF
  5. If they've got so much money why are they signing Johnny Hayes for £1.3m ? Do their hordes ever think to ask these questions ? Maybe they haven't got the money they're led to believe they have. I think I know why.
  6. I'm sure I read somewhere last season he got something like four league goals and three or four assists. Could be wrong though. But if so not great
  7. But he now has a Rangers manager whose demands & expectations are far higher than what McKay has been used to.
  8. Good luck to him but in reality he was one of too many signings last summer who signalled the beginning of the end of the Warburton era.
  9. The key word in ur post is 'inherit' is it not ? Brenda did inherit Suarez. Sterling too. When they went it was only a matter of time before Brenda went too after some of the signings he made.
  10. McKay needs to make his mind up if he's signing a new contract. If not he should be sold.
  11. It makes no sense whatsoever for hertz or any Scottish club to let players leave for nothing when their contracts run down after they've spent a great deal of time, money & effort bringing them thro' their youth systems. If there's £600k on the table for Walker I'd have thought hertz would be pretty stupid to refuse it & risk getting nothing at all
  12. No one in the EPL would want Brenda after spending £300m and winning hee-haw at liverpool
  13. He must have got bad advice from somewhere.
  14. I see Rossiter was playing.
  15. McInnes has probably been the sheep's best manager since SAF. It will be difficult for them to replace him.
  16. I reckon PC will want to get rid off both Krankjcar & Rossiter.
  17. Hopefully 32red will be paying quite a bit more for the shirt sponsorship than they'll currently be paying
  18. Griffiths couldn't get a game at Wolves when hey were in league1
  19. I think some of the criticism aimed at MW is unfair. You have go back 2 years & remember after we got embarassed in the play off with Motherwell that he inherited an absolute car crash from McCoist. He brought in a lot of players in a very short space of time to replace the dross McCoist left behind. His main objective was to get us promoted and he did he that and even got us to a SC final. Ultimately though those players were never going to be good enough to get us challenging for the premiership title. Where things started to go wrong for MW was when he brought in those 11 or 12 last summer and most couldn't get into the starting XI. He effectively didn't improve the promoted team and results proved this. The writing was on the wall for MW. Now though we have a manager who is recruiting well. The calibre of player coming in is an internationalist and almost all will go into the starting XI I would think. I haven't looked forward to the start of the new season for a long time as this
  20. I bet it does. Just a pity for them their best players Walker, Paterson etc, are heading out the door. How will they replace them if they're financially-strapped paying for this new stand?
  21. Thought Warburton tried to sign him & he refused ? No way Caixinha will be interested
  22. You're surely not suggesting Whyte's 'acquisition' of Rangers was a leveraged buyout?
  23. The English may be more receptive to us joining but they certainly wouldn't want a hardline Irish republican club whose support hate all things British joining them.
  24. The English don't want the OF & don't need the OF. Our only hope of getting out of Scottish football is some sort of North Atlantic league
