Today's starting XI is I believe our best XI. Perhaps not the greatest ever XI we've ever had but the best we've got just now. I thought the first half was OK In that we did create chances but didnt take them. We should have been ahead at HT. However the substitutions made things worse. In the end I was glad we got one point as we could easily have lost against the bottom of the league
-
Not for the first time this season the substitutions were totally ineffective. Replacing Miller & Garner with Waghorn & McKay made things worse. And yet to be convinced about Dodoo as a winger. Not sure what his best position is

Mark McGhee reckons Rangers will do well to avoid bottom-six

McGhee reminds me of Stubbs. Plenty to say about opponents but overlooks his own teams failings -
The ten SPL chairmen who voted Rangers out the SPL may well have a problem if Whyte is found guilty of a fraudulent takeover. Punishing a club which was the victim of a crime could have serious repercussions for some.

We won't get a fee. We'll probably need to pay him off
-
Will we ever learn about signing 30-something players looking to top up their pension pot ? Do they really care if they're playing or not as long as they're getting paid ?
-
Why the need to wait til january ? If he wants away & Rangers agree to release him he can go anytime
-
Obviously UEFA aren't interested in a 'deid club' then ?
-
There are excptions though aren't there ? Leverkusen are owned by a pharmaceutical company & Wolfsburg owned by VW. No idea how RB Leipzig got round that ruling

After German unification 26 years ago how many East German clubs got into the new unified german leagues? I seem to remember Hansa Rostock being one
-
I don't believe some of the transfer fees they claim to have received. Did anyone seriously believe Van Dijk's value quadrupled after two years in the top division without Rangers? And after several hammerings in Europe?

McCoist signing Boyd & Miller two years ago was a major contributing factor to costing him his job IMO -
If McClean hates the UK so much why is he living & working in it ? why doesn't he just do us all a favour & leave. He won't be missed. Go & live in the EU-controlled 22 county state. And please take some of the pseudo-Irish from Glasgow's east end with you. We won't miss them either. And what's WBA's view on this ? Do they think this acceptable ?

Not quite. The oldco was put into a liquidation process after the CVA got rejected. That liquidation process is ongoing and will be for years to come. In football terms the SFA membership/licence got transferred from oldco to newco so the club continued. Any football fines and debts from oldco has to be paid by newco such as this EBT fine. Rangers board had no choice but to pay it

Or is their jerry-built stadium now causing them some concern ?? Wee whispers I'm hearing. Do you know the San Giro costs nearly £1m p.a. maintenance ? Rather a lot ? Anyway let's put out a wee anti-Rangers story. Keep them masses happy eh ?
-
Oh dear big bad Rangers are now second in the league and the usual suspects aren't happy. The difference between us & them is we have people who put money into the club.
-
It is clear we are getting better after making one or two changes. I just wish these changes had been made a few weeks ago & we'd be in a better position than we are now.

Yep would appear LW is the second player to have scored in all four divisions of Scottish football for one club
-
Is Lee Wallace the first player to have scored in all four divisions of Scottish football for the one club ? Anyone know?

Excellent performance. Only gripe was the subs made little impact
