Fairly comfortable victory but fringe players need to do better than what they showed tonight. In the second half too many needlessly giving the ball away for my liking. That said Zukowski looks a decent signing.

Ryan Jack is 30 this year & unfortunately it now looks as if injuries are beginning to become a problem for him now Maybe that’s why SG signed Lundstram who’s now settling in quite well I’d suggest

This Castore deal concerns me…. James Bisgrove even said something at the AGM there had been issues. A year after Rangers signed up with them they got Wolves & Newcastle too. I wonder how much these two deals are costing Castore & if we’re taking a hit because of that Always felt if Puma( as alleged) had matched (or bettered) Castore we should have gone with them as the 3rd biggest sports manufacturer in the world

If only we had put that starting XI out last Wednesday. Looked much more solid, especially Jack & Lundstram in central MF. And, of course, a certain Mr Morelos up front 😃

Fromm what we’ve seen in the past few games, no I don’t think so

We need to start the game well today. Higher tempo than we’ve been doing lately. The slow, predictable build up and left to right then back again won’t do. We need to start asking more questions of teams. I don’t think we can afford any slip-ups til we play the yahoos again in April

That starting XI leaves Jack with a lot to do on his own in central MF in my opinion. He could easily get outnumbered. Its a very attack-minded formation.

Or change the tactics 4-3-3 was madness last night

We need to learn how to use Sakala though. He’s not a natural number9 for me and won’t get enough goals hes maybe better to suited to a 4-4-2 playing up top as one of the 2 in a wider role

We put Sakala up against their LB Greg Taylor. That pushed them back.

If we’d managed to score early 2nd half could have been different. look they’re not world beaters. They’re nowhere near as good as Rodger’s team. They came out the traps at 100mph first half and scored early then we gifted 2 before HT. they do concede under pressure. Look at them in Europe. But we never did that tonight

And I don’t care what anyone says but we miss Morelos. Like it or not he’s the best we’ve had since McCoist

We need to learn how to use Sakala in a game like that. Sit him on the shoulder of the last defender. Their defence will move back

I think Sakala is more effective on the right.

I actually thought Sakala changed the game when he came on. He has genuine pace and forced them to sit deeper. But the game was over at HT

If Jack played alongside Kamala first half and we sacrificed one of our wide players it might have been different

After conceding 3 to Ross County on Saturday I was dreading tonight

We made him & others look good in that first half. They came out the traps at 100mph and our 4-3-3 left us exposed

I hope GvB now reconsiders his first choice starting XI

Too many players have been poor for too long. For me it was noticeable when Balogen & Jack came on. Two players who didn’t hide. I also think we need to rethink tactics going to Celtic Park. 4-3-3 is too ambitious when u know they come flying out the traps at 100mph. Perhaps 4-4-2 or 4-5-1
