Think Morales will be a bigger gamble than most seem to think. 25 goals in Finnish football is what here? Maybe ten. Don't see it in the guy, hopefully he can bag 25 goals here and prove me wrong. Got to say the same with Candiase and Dalcio just don't see what we get from them especially paying £700k for a guy who in his whole career at 29 years old has played 4 games for his parent clubs. Would have been better to loan the guy if the fee involved was low Pena, Alves and maybe Cordoso are great signings. Hopefully we add Dorrans, think it's essential we get him now.

understand that but there is no reason not to inform fans as the situation progresses. Nothing whatsoever is risked or lost by releasing the sfa panel went well we now await the players picking up their visas on x date, all being well they will be at the club ready to train by x Think one player was here for three days and the other two so i doubt pictures would have been an issue tbh. Personally i think the whole reason the notice of todays signing was delayed was because trainer has a plan to get the press to bow to his will and he is flexing his muscle. The club is supposed to benefit by the media toning down the attacks and lies. Its a "this is what will happen" scenario we are trying to threaten them with. If a more professional equivalent of the FF thread was on the Rangers website heavily moderated the advertising revenue that could be generated would easily surpass a million pound with 500k followers etc watching videos and the usual stuff. Christ little girls in their bedrooms have managed to generate £1m annually doing bloody make up videos! We have a massive untapped source of revenue which we have recently tentatively stuck our toe into, but with pretty much zero noticeable strategy or outside the box thinking.

Cant say I have much hope for this one but here's hoping Meant to say - the club seriously needs to have a look at its media practices. Are these signings supposed to be a secret damp squid? This week employees where given a letter from the manager telling them to keep quiet, that's fair enough that the club want to control the release of information but when that control is absolutely useless and massively behind the times its an exercise in futility. Why have the guy at the club since Thursday then release this on Sunday late afternoon? Your not trying to tell me the lawyers and co where in today to finalise the deal ,because there is no chance that happened. I get we are actively trying to withhold the info from the newspapers to get them inline but personally i would instead like to see the press completely ignored and direct passing of news from club to fan through our own selected intermediaries. The other two signings have been given their work permits but still silence from the club, no update whatsoever. If the club continue to refuse point blank to keep supporters informed then we will do it ourselves, its as simple as that. Supporters need exciting times and the most made of the good times, especially when the season has been so poor. Obviously there is times and certain bits of info that need to be kept in house but the secret squirrel stuff needs to go. We should be making a splash with these signings. If it wasn't for the thread on FF and the leaked info we would all still be in a state of fear wondering what next year would bring and arguing over whether we had any money or not. As said there is a time and place to release information to the fans but the club is an absolute mile away from it. The official channels are too slow, far too slow .

Rangers have added to the Portuguese contingent at Ibrox by recruiting winger Daniel Candeias on a two year deal. We reported earlier in the week that Candeias was one of the players interesting the new Rangers manager and the move is now complete. The Benfica winger has joined manager Pedro Caixinha, his backroom staff and new signings Bruno Alves, Fabio Cardoso and Dalcio at the club for a fee of around £700,000. The 29-year-old flew from Lisbon to Glasgow late on Thursday evening and put pen to paper over the weekend after passing a medical. Candeias is a well-travelled player around the European continent having been sent on loan to French, German and Spanish sides after joining Benfica in 2014. The winger was born in Fornos de Algodres, Portugal, he played for his local side of the same name before being snapped up by giants FC Porto in 2002. He plied his trade at the Porto academy before eventually earning a loan move to second-tier Varzim in 2007/2008. Further loan switches to Rio Ave, Recreativo and Pacos Ferreira followed before he was released by Porto, featuring in just four games at the Dragao side. CD Nacional recruited Candeias on a free transfer but he was immediately loaned to Portimonense where he got plenty of game time but suffered relegation with them. The following campaign he returned to Nacional as he played 41 games, including six in the Europa League, under none other than Pedro Caixinha. In the following two seasons, the winger was a regular in the first team at the Madeira outfit as they competed in Liga Nos, Portuguese top division. His performances attracted the attention of Lisbon cracks Benfica, who signed Candeias on a free transfer in 2014. However, the wide man didn’t feature at all for the Eagles and found himself on loan at Nuremberg in the 2.Bundesliga and Granada in La Liga in season 2014/2015. He was playing regularly though and Benfica felt it best to continue farming him out on loan and his next stop was Metz in the French Ligue 2, where he featured in 28 games as helped them earn automatic promotion to Ligue 1 with a third-placed finish. Candeias was on the move again last season as he joined Alanyaspor in the Turkish Super Lig. Another solid amount of game time, 28 games in total on the right wing, contributed to a 12th place finish, finishing ahead of Rangers’ 2010 Champions League foes Bursaspor. The Turks were said to be very interested in making the deal permanent for the Portuguese ace, but Caixinha has swooped and will be reunited with Candeias in the Scottish Premiership. https://www.rangersobserver.com/news/2017/6/8/rangers-sign-candeias

Why Rangers Mexican duo can thrive in Scottish game...
trublusince1982 replied to ian1964's topic in Rangers Chat
Said it before the Mexican mentality will fit exactly with the Scottish. Could be a match made in heaven for us. -
think your massively under estimating how good a player Dorrans is. He is light years ahead of players like holt, hyndman, toral etc. £1.2m for a premiership player who gives regular 7 performances, is fully fit, has what seems to be a good personality, fantastic work rate and also bags of experience who could in all likelihood play for another 4-5 years seems the deal of the decade to me. With Pena,Herrera extcetera we have a different sort of deal, with them we will likely see(if they play as they can) them move on for a return rather quickly, but Dorrans is the type you build around and allows long term planning, allowing for cashing in of others ,without losing the spine of the team and the mentality in tact. Personally if it happens and we get Dorrans I think he will go onto become a bit of a mister dependable at Ibrox, something we have been lacking for a very longtime.

only good for the links at the bottom of their pages. The above would have been one of ours unfortunately, the idiots of our support seem to have came to the forefront over the last 5 years.

Had a wee look the other day. Was impressed, no nonsense reports in Rangers, very refreshing. Hopefully they can keep content coming regularly with the same attention to detail.

I agree wholeheartedly with him. If they did manage to win ten in a row then four are tainted and it's a nothing statement
-
yeah its defo fake. They have took a photo of the stuff on rangers media posted from guys over there, added to the text then stuck the logo etc on then took a screen shot of the lot by the looks of it. There is nothing on rangers media facebook page and they also have their own icon and heading. Someone add libbing to what was said I think
-
Its meant to be from Rangers alla the The Rangers Football Club Plc heading, the Rangersmedia bit at the bottom is from the screen shot . Rangers media have their own heading to tweet from that says rangersmedia and their own icon.

Rangers saying another "two crooks" doesnt sound legit to me. All the main info is true but it seems to have been padded out with every hope!
