Dave King Press Conference 8th June 2015
trublusince1982 replied to chilledbear's topic in Rangers Chat
things will only calm once the merits of their actions can be clearly measured. the calibre of manager and the standard of the first few signings will tell all. The sooner they get it over with the better for us fans -

its time to stop holding press conferences when we have nothing to reveal. Its also time for actions to do the talking. -

he says often that the shareholders will shoulder the short fall over the three years. So can we take it for granted the 2x £1.5m loans are to be paid back only through shares and no cash will depart the club? Or is it still a case of that will be what happens once a share issue or such is called? -

Its like you have a teenage girl crush on King. Nobody criticised King. No need to get your panties in a twist. The context from the begining of the thread is the previously mentioned shortlist of candidates. Which includes 3 ex gers players Mccall, Davies and Mccinnes. As for Mcinnes being good enough that's your opinion and definitely not mine. Would be gutted if he got the job. Not quite as bad as Davies getting the job. -

sorry if you are unable to follow the context of the thread. Maybe gersnet could incorporate a "spell it all out "function so you can keep pace? -

Only if you are stupid enough to take it out of context -

It will be Davies. The lot from the blue room have wanted him for years. -

He can forget it until there is some action to back up his words. Sign any of the x gers players as manager and I'm out. -

Why would you take advice on which manager to choose from WS? He thinks ally is a good manager. Really worried now. That shortlist is terrible. Pieria is already out so scrap his name and it's Warburton or one of the old boys club. Blue room with parks and co will push for Davies in my opinion. Hope it's not any of them that would be a complete disaster -

they can't take any longer than friday, to do so is not near good enough. Tough decisions and important decisions still need to be made in the time frame available that's what makes them hard decisions. To leave it later shows yet again a lack of forethought and planning in my opinion. -

personally believe wholeheartedly he is not the man for the job or even in the realms of the calibre required. Was unsure around qots drubbing then positive by the time the falkirk game came round. -

mccall is not good enough. Its as simple as that. His appointment would have a negative effect on the whole club and put any idea of creating a better footballing infrastructure/ outlook in its grave. Don't think i could handle anymore years of the same failures/behaviours. -

He does seem admired from his ex players. Would rather have him at Ibrox over mccall or mcinnes . -

Don't think the board are as short sighted or as ignorant to our past attempts at ex players as managers to try this...... he keeps repeating to himself while rocking back and forth -

another novice could result in long lasting damage. There is nobody with any experience implementing the infrastructure we so badly need. Will be seriously worried if we put our rebuilding once again into the hands of another manager with little experience -
