just journalists asking loaded questions and turning a simple answer to their want. They will never promote us unless we earn it.

£5m of the £6.5m has no time limit to be paid back. they can pay it back 3-4 years from now once revenues are increased through stabilisation and euro qualifacation. still think you will see the same rise in st price irrespective of league. they will say its needed to cover lower incomes due to previous boards. cant see them being in a position were they can afford to wait till june to send out renewals. that being said dk getting sfa approval start of may could influence that. in an ideal world we would aim to maximise all revenue streams but while sd hold the merchandise deal i think we will cut our losses until 2017. they will leave the badges and focus the money we have on pushing fan lead income streams we still have control over.

any improvement to the playing squad is a good thing. that being said i doubt he will be fit in time -

sorry when i say funding i mean the money king and co will put in not our income streams.. If they know our income levels then there should be no need to delay investment, if indeed they have £5-£6m from king each year to play with before the 3b put in anything. Its easy enough to say king will cover the known deficit then and the 3bs will put up x amount to fund x y and z improvements. they have already stated failure to go up a league will not hurt their plans(not sure how that works personally) so they must therefore already have worked out a strategy that doesnt include the income levels needing to rise on last year. That would make me believe they intend to fund improvements without using any of the clubs typical income streams to supplement them. So really dont see what the delay is. If king will invest either as a director or not. dont think the league will determine the cost of the season ticket .finances dictate that the increase must happen either way. Think PM has already alluded to this in his interviews highlighting the fact hibs st are already on sale.As you say we will find out soon. when is the play off final? had a look at the spfl website but doesnt make a lot of sense! the spfl playoff final is a different date than the championship final so not sure which one is which. Either way do you think renewal could wait that long before commencing? wouldnt we need another loan to see us through to that date if we dont know what league we are in until the end of may?

the avenues for raising cash are limited to say the least.thats a major reason i see paying off ashley as impossible at this time. they need to maximise revenue. the only available option left is through ticket sales. to maximise that they need to be seen as opening their wallets. must admit to being very worried right now. there doesnt seem to be much movement or commitment to any direction. As the weeks go by the excuse of needing to go through the contracts first grows weaker and weaker. cant see how the club accountants couldnt explain the available incomes within a couple of weeks .If the short and medium term direction is dependant on renewing or challenging contracts then we dont have enough available funding. if we had£20-30m available we would be fixing the known faults ie the football infrastructure knowing the present income levels and funding would be suficiant to see us through to 2017

dont see it. Many see the job done and now in the hands of the new board to keep him at bay. Ashley could only cause harm with collusion from within. that should now no longer be possible. We all want to see the merchandise contract being ripped up but i doubt the board are able to. More likely you will see the board meet agreement with ashley, use his loan money and renegotiate his loan parameters culminating in the board publicly backing the merchandise deal as being good for the club.

cant see the fans understanding lasting. Say they pay off ashley we get the badges etc back the cost of doing that would come from any potential first team budget and from things like scouting , putting them back maybe till next season. A few poor performances and that lack of funding will see the board under pressure. Think its far more likely they will leave the badges with ashley and spend the share issue money if there is one on the deficit and on a larger wage budget. Dont really see any dramatic rise in revenue that will not be offset by higher costs. Maybe an extra £2m to the good dont see there being two share issues within 12 months.Especially when you will still need one the year after the first to cover whats left of the deficit for the following season. Think the first one will aim for about £10m the vast majority of that will come from the 3 bears and king in my opinion, think the other investors will mostly give it a miss and allow their holding to drop. Cant see the easdales or ashley taking part. Not sure how much will be invested from fans groups but doubt it will be more than £1m all in.Don't see king putting up more than £5-6m in the first year, not sure how much the 3 bears are willing to spend year on year. With investment not happening till after season ticket sales meaning no real movement on issues the fans deem urgent i dont see there being more than a 5000 uptake on last seasons st numbers.Maybe a 20% rise in price at the most will help but will most likely be eaten up in player wage rises if promotion is achieved and in signing fees for all the replacements we need.
-
that all sounds good. king keeps mentioning "we wont be discussing club matters publicly"(or there abouts). he can think again. transparency cannot be acheived behind closed doors. We the fans will decide when WE feel confident enough to allow the board free reign and it certainly will not be before you show us the money.

you could argue every game right now are some of our most important. never been one to concentrate on the opposition they just equate to degrees of challenge. Same as the position we are in right now is another degree of challenge. If we can go unbeaten the rest of this season and win a few with some style that would be a great achievement

Rangers 2 - 1 Hearts: Player Ratings and Highlights
trublusince1982 replied to Frankie's topic in Rangers Chat
player is down with a head knock should have been stopped either way. -
he is definitely bringing me round. If he continues to improve the team the way he has and has them perform in the playoffs then i would be happy to see him stay. Been impressed by the way he has brought competition for places back, some of the players look like different people.

cant invest but why can he not give?
-
not for me, i dont doubt for one second we will outstrip them both commercially and in honours. Can they find a commercial sponser?
